This version looks much better. Question before my yea, how did it feel playing with the start zones so close?

Also I want to set this one up so if somebody can send me their VW set, I promise I will send it right back .

You could use Marvel asphalt for the lava fields and shadow tiles for the molten lava.

The start zones aren't that close unless you're flying but even Green Lantern couldn't reach the far ladder in his first turn, only the ladder in front, which isn't far enough to attack on the first turn. Another flyer could still fly up to the closest ladder and attack Green Lantern.

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
