Re: The Book of Vampirella ~ Vote for On-Deck
Does this feel cleaner? Asking cause I am legitimately unsure.

Re: The Book of Vampirella ~ Vote for On-Deck
Eh, I'm good with Johnny's first edit, which is what's on the cards. I'm happy to move forward. Just need SW and LV!

Re: The Book of Vampirella
It was brought up that Hunter is probably not the most accurate class here and we should probably switch her to Slayer since that puts her in line with the other figures who track down supernatural threats.

Re: The Book of Vampirella
Fwiw, I don't have a strong opinion either way, but I'm fine with having both supernatural Hunters and supernatural Slayers. Gives us a bit more flexibility if we ever want to expand the Buffyverse or Hack/Slash, for example.

Re: The Book of Vampirella
She hunts monsters The only synergy I know about is Hellboy, and he has both already. What would be the point?

Re: The Book of Vampirella
The whole point of doing this class update was to get people in more accurate buckets, so we should try to maintain that going forward.
Hunting supernatural stuff puts her more in line with Buffy and Blade than Ka-Zar and Kraven. Hunter and Slayer aren’t the same and we shouldn’t use them interchangeably. Putting her in the Slayer class doesn’t restrict future synergy for Buffy as you can always go with Human Slayer for that. |

Re: The Book of Vampirella
Would there ever be a potential character that hunts paranormal creatures, but doesn't slay them? (Focusing on non-lethal means of capture or whatever?) That could be justification for keeping both hunter and slayer.
I can see some value in separating "hunter of the paranormal" from "hunter of animals/humans" but I can also see the value in having 2 different paranormal classes that are both similar yet slightly different. We don't have to condense everything down. |

Re: The Book of Vampirella
I mean, she's nothing like Buffy and Blade, but whatever. If it gets her played then fine.

Who you gonna call?
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
