Yeah, I started thinking about that after he posted, but didn't want to be a buzz kill. Open to suggestions on how to resolve that.

For clarification, I believe what you're talking about is that the bonus triggers on the lowest numbered marker, but nothing actually removes the markers from play when a figure is destroyed, so currently only the "1" would technically give a bonus, despite the obvious intent for the "2" and "3" to do so as well once the figures with the "1" and "2" are killed off, respectively.

I do prefer the defense over the 7?attack version. Don’t know the theme either way.

It's one of those vaguely defined gray areas in the game's rules. Which is to say ... I'm not entirely sure?

I’ve always played it that they stay. If Jason is an Avenger and dies, the marker stays on his card. That way if he gets resurrected he’s still an Avenger.

I’m assuming you’re also supposed to technically leave wounds on the card, but I don’t do that at all.

Yeah, technically even Wound Markers stay on a destroyed card, it just very rarely matters. A pretty simple "on the battlefield" sort of clarification would straighten it out, though, yep.

Yeah Markers always hang about on dead cards, is why resurrection powers all say ‘remove all wound markers’ or the like, so the resurrected dude doesn’t instantly re-die.
