According to the D&D rules, looks like starting zones are based on the map itself. So most are going to be about 24 regardless. Then I'm not terribly worried about a 200 remote control army

(And that worry was more of a "never wanting to see that across from me" rather than a competitive concern )

I don't think that's really a metagame concern that you'll always be able to fill out your armies. Right now it's like a 25% chance that you get one wound out of one of these which also kills itself. Otherwise they are pretty easy to take out, might just give them 0 defense as well cause if you hit them at all they should probably break.

Right now the only other Common Android we have are the Mechanical Constructs. Anything that would be too strong for the remote would probably be Uncommon in my opinion.

Yea 24 start zone spaces is standard for competitive maps which we require for playtesting. Someone could totally have a scenario where they had 200 of these, but I don't know why you would want to do that or why you would agree to play against it. Same for 100 Fire Ants though.

Minor point, they do still technically engage things. So like having one next someone stops that person from shooting non adjacent dudes and such.

Not that its a concern or whatnot, just clarifying that "can't make leaving engagement attacks" isn't quite the same thing as not engaging things at all.
