Yep, there's lot of precedent for (part of) a unit's name to be its class. Many of the Marro, especially. It just doesn't match the other guys in this faction. If the Binder was the only one being submitted, I wouldn't bring it up.

Agreed about the Demon, but I can't think of a better name.
