Character Bio - When his father T'Chaka was slain by criminal miners, young T'Challa swore vengeance and thwarted the miners' raid of Wakanda's Vibranium mines, the source of the nation's wealth.

T'Challa later attended the finest schools in Europe and America. After graduation and returning to his homeland he assumed leadership of his tribe and nation. At his coronation, T'Challa ingested the sacred herb that granted great physical strength and heightened senses. The new king then donned the ceremonial garb representing his tribe's patron animal and assumed leadership as the Black Panther.
