Heroscape Pyramids - Tutorial included
2/2/08 EDIT: I've taken down this tutorial to make space for another. If you're interested in it, PM me, and I'll quickly re-upload the photos.
I've uploaded a series of photos on how to make a pyramid. The design is easily scalable. You could make a pyramid at any height, and width, however you see fit. If a three-sided pyramid is called something other than a pyramid, then I'm sorry, I didn't look it up, and I don't know what it is. But these are good enough for me.   The Tutorial Enjoy.

Coooool. I love it. And no, I don't think three sided pyramids are called anything different.

I will call it a pyramid...
Not that it matters, but.... A pyramid is any three-dimensional polyhedron where the faces other than the base are triangular and converge on one point, called the apex. The base of a pyramid can be any polygon; it is typically a square or a triangle, leading to four or three non-base faces. And as the great Forrest Gump was known to say, "That's all I have to say about that."

Nice!
My kids just worked on this at school. What you've made is called a Triangle Pyramid, a pyramid with a square base is called a Square Pyramid. ohhhhh I smart!

My son made a few of these for us to play with. I like yours very nice, and thanks for the tutorial! One thing I didn't like about the pyramids was the amount of unplayable space that they create. They sure look cool as hell though!

Well actually it would be a tetrahedron, but a tetrahedron is a type of pyramid, so calling it a pyramid will work.
