Austi-Con Heroscape Tournament Oct 21st 2023

Here's the early placeholder for the annual Austin Con 2023 / Tree Town Open combined Heroscape tournament. Games start at 10am Saturday Oct 21st and will last 6 hours.

500pt armies. Official and Valhalla Customs allowed (no rebasing required). No Marvel or other customs or Age of Annihilation. If you need to borrow any figures, send me a PM. I will provide some extra armies as well.

The tournament will be run similar to previous years. The tournament will be five rounds, with each player playing five games against different opponents. Overall win/loss records and point totals will determine tournament placement. Prizes will be available (donations welcome!).

Maps will be brought in by @Codeman (I hope). Which ones? We'll have to wait and see.

Well, it looks like I am out now. My brother decided to get married. {Sigh} That's the second time for me that someone decided to get married on national Heroscape Day. Looks like I'm bringing some maps to Arkansas.

Any idea how many warriors are coming?
Trying to figure out how many maps to bring. Without the Heroscape van I cant just bring 30 some maps with me anymore.

Difficult to tell; only a few responses here and signed up for the event. It feels like less than usual, but not everyone responds on either. My bet is that six maps would be sufficient. Eight would provide safety (and map variety).
