Re: The Book of Black Tom Cassidy - Breathing
I was going more for classic Tom, but I doubt he'd get another version so I think it's definitely fair to represent his plant stuff. Either of these two would be good depending on how hard we wanna hit the regenerating plant-person angle.

Re: The Book of Black Tom Cassidy - Breathing
Maybe it's just me not being totally up on the character in general, but I'd rather just see a classic Tom than having him absorb characteristics from later versions. He's actually been a pretty big deal with the Krakoa stuff, so a second version isn't as strange as it seems.

Re: The Book of Black Tom Cassidy - Breathing
I mean I don't mind representing it, his second power could be interpreted as him using the trees in a more planty way on top of just a larger blast.
I think he's firing from the trees here? But I could see a Krakoa version of him later on too yeah. |

Okidoke.
Well for a third, maybe the same thing, but with a more reusable title, since it's basically Tough for SAs. Quote:
or maybe something like this Quote:
Or he could just be a two power, I'm not entirely sure what else I would put and it's been a minute since I've seen a simpler two power card. Wouldn't be out of place in the brotherhood and part of why I wanted to run him is he feels like one of those characters old school C3G would have tackled, but didn't get around to for whatever reason. |

Re: The Book of Black Tom Cassidy - Breathing
Yeah, I'd definitely avoid giving a figure to an opponent, especially if his optimal pair is meant to be a 340 pt. Juggernaut.

Re: The Book of Black Tom Cassidy - Breathing
I guess I still don't see the huge appeal with the before/after turn bonding? It doesn't seem like there's a huge mechanical benefit, so I'd just pick one or the other.

Re: The Book of Black Tom Cassidy - Breathing
Agreed.
Hmm, as for "tough against special attacks," not sure the title is selling me on the theme of that yet. My concern is that's the type of power we'd want to be pretty reusable, I think. So what exactly makes someone thematically tough against special attacks that could be a common thread enough to make into the power title there? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Black Tom Cassidy - Breathing
In that case I'd have Juggernaut go first and pave a way.

Re: The Book of Black Tom Cassidy - Breathing
Like he lost to Banshee in fisticuffs, but shrugs off most elemental or powery attacks. Like I said earlier though, if there's not a strong enough catch for it, I'd be fine with a two power.
