Finally decided to update this thread with all of the cards that I have made for various contests on this site, as well as customs of my own concept.

This one here is a DreamBlade miniature. I saw him at a local shop and had to pick him up.


Bio

The Earth of the 23rd century is not a pleasant one. War is a constant fact of life, and advances in cybernetics and genetic engineering have only made conflicts more deadly.

Numerous corporations reap wealth from the constant bloodshed, offering every faction the newest and greatest instruments of death. Such is the case with W.H.M. CCI unit #1047, or as it is more commonly known as, The Gun Brute.

The Gun Brutes are a collection of genetically modified super soldiers with deadly chain guns serving as replacements for hands. They are the ideal product. They are extremely effective killers and they do not question authority.

Gun Brutes do not care for ideology or personal survival, they care only about the orders of their owners.

So popular is the Gun Brute that it is not an uncommon sight to see two warring factions send armies of them against each other.

Now the popular line of soldiers has made their way to Valhalla, were they will gladly fight and die for their new master, Vydar.

This one is a Horroclix figure from the Freakshow set. His name is The Great Slicini. He is currently undergoing the SoV process.

In a world filled with illusion, only the blind may truly see.

These are the words that Pygar lives by, the words that motivated him throughout his entire life.

He repeats them to himself as he makes his way across the hilly grassland. Einar told Pygar that he had been chosen to fight for him because despite the fact that he could not see, he had pushed his other senses to super human level. And that when another man faced him in battle, their reliance on their eyes would make them the ones who would truly be blind.

Pygar did not want to disappoint his new master on his first assignment. His mission was simple, use the battle as a distraction to kill the leader of Jandar’s forces, who had taken up camp outside of the battlefield.

The echoes of the battle were now less then half a mile away, Pygar was getting closer. After turning by another hill Pygar sensed it. A figure blocking the subtle blow of the wind. He stood ten...no fifteen yards away. He smelled of sweat and 1940‘s tobacco. One of Jandar’s Airborne Elite. It had to be. Pygar turned to face him.

Pygar took note of every detail of the environment. Any sudden change or movement would have been like broadcasting a move before one could make it, giving Pygar enough time to react then re-react to any move his opponent made. But the soldier had no idea who he was facing.

In an instant Pygar felt the change in the air as the man raised his rifle, he smelled the man’s breath as he exhaled to steady his aim, and heard the clinking of the mechanisms in the gun as he started to pull the trigger. Pygar knew the gun was aimed directly at his head and he knew to survive he needed to move...NOW!

Pygar tilted his head a few inches to the side, just in time to hear the bullet whizz by his ear, the scent of gunpowder following close behind. He wasted no time in his counter attack. He quickly drew a knife from his belt and got ready to throw. He paused for a fraction of second, so fast the human eye wouldn’t catch it. After re-evaluating his surroundings Pygar threw his knife a foot wider to the right.

To the Airborne Elite it simply looked like Pygar had missed, but Pygar knows better than most how misleading one’s eyes can be.

As soon as the knife was released the gust of wind that Pygar had felt building in the north blew the blade back on its course.

The three sounds that followed were quite familiar to Pygar, as he had heard them countless times before. First was the THUMP of a blade sinking into flesh, then the GASP of air leaving a person’s lungs, followed by the THUD of a body collapsing on the ground.

Yeah I inadvertently skipped the rest of the holiday contests but managed to get back in time for the last one. This guy actually lead most of the way in the polls but was outvoted on the last day giving me a decent second place finish.

The morning after a colossal mudslide ravaged through the Ticallan jungle, a group of Aquilla’s scouts reported back to their mistress, saying that they had found something amazing.

Apparently the mudslide had unearthed the fossilized remains of an unknown lizard like creature, the likes of which no kyrie had ever seen.

Determined to satisfy her own curiosity, Aquilla used her magic to gaze upon the fossil’s past. This is how Aquilla learned that millions of years before the kyrie ruled Valhalla, the planet was home to a race of millions of various lizard like creatures known collectively as Pristisaurs. The fossilized remains her tribesman had found belonged to that of a powerful warrior known as Ankylos, the leader of a tribe of Pristisaurs that lived in what is now the Ticalla jungle.

Aquilla watched as Ankylos defended his tribe and his homeland from numerous raids from rival Pristisaur clans. Until one ill fated day, Aquilla witnessed Ankylos wander into an ambush, and although he was outnumbered four to one, he fought with everything he had, taking down scores of invaders, but alas, he was eventually overwhelmed.

However before the final blow was delivered to Ankylos, Aquilla decided to alter fate and intervene. She reached through the portal and pulled Ankylos into modern day Valhalla.

Indebted to her for having saved his life, Ankylos swore allegiance to Aquilla and vowed to protect his new mistress from her numerous enemies in the battle for the wellsprings.

With this one I was trying to give the figure a Cyberclaw type power, but had to work around the fact that he didn't have claws.

This one I had the most fun with. We had to make two cards and make them opposite of each other. My backstory was that they were a husband and wife caught on opposite ends of the War for Valhalla.

Mortal Kombat Kustoms
These guys were my first real attempt at customs. Looking back a year later they need some desperate re-working. I'll probably redo them along with several other MK Kustoms I have sitting on a file on my desktop.

Man, I used to play a lot of MK back in the day. It's been a while though. Here are some comments on what you have here.

Raiden
What does "continously occupied" mean in Lightning Bolt Special Attack? Occupied during the duration of the attack? Occupied all game? Same thing with "continous water spaces." Aren't all water spaces continually water? I guess not if a Greater Ice Elemental gets near them. Lightning Teleport is a fine idea, but unfortunately a figure cannot move to a space that's within clear sight of itself. Clear sight needs a figure to look and a figure to look at. I suggest using something like "same level" like Tul-Bak-Ra's Teleport. Pointwise he should be in the 300s, at least, comparing him to Marvel figs.

Johnny Cage
For Shadow Kick Special Attack it says he must move one additional space. So he is unable to move upward with that movement, correct? Or onto Heavy Snow or Slippery Ice. Can Johnny use Split Punch before he uses Shadow Kick? Thematically I don't think you mean them to be used together, but rules-wise there's nothing preventing it. Using Split Punch as a counter to normal attacks is mostly ok, but giving Johnny a normal attack back is problematic. In general, out-of-turn attacks are problematic due to "duration of the attacking figure's turn" powers. An auto-wound like Engagement Strike would work better here. I'm Too Cool For This is a neat concept, but "targeting" isn't clear for all special powers. For example, can it protect him from Marro Plague? That doesn't do "targeting" per se. Points-wise I'd expect low-to-mid 100s.

Scorpion
Get Over Here! is a good reuse of Chain Grab, but what does "may not use any special abilities" mean? Are always-on abilities like Tough turned off? Does a Fire Elemental roll defense in water? Can a Deathreaver that is attacked not scatter, but other Deathreavers can? Can Scorpion use Fiery Teleport after moving and attacking normally, or can he only use the extra attack after using Fiery Teleport initially?

Sub-Zero
Like Scorpion's Get Over Here!, the "may not use any special abilities" in Freeze and Ice Clone Counter is unclear. Not all abilities are clearly "used," some are used, some are always on, and some don't necessarily affect a single figure. Ice Clone Counter also has the problem of an out-of-turn attack like Johnny Cage. Nice reuse of Ice Cold.
