WA/OR Super Heroscape Tournament: 11/11

Prize potential if you dress up as your favorite superhero (I may be coming as Blob). Post your thoughts and suggestions.

Location: The Silver Barn at Longy418's estate in Battleground, WA.

Date: Saturday, November 11 (Veteran's Day)

Time: The first round will start at noon. Come when you can. Play will terminate around 8PM.

Entry fee: Nothing. We are playing for fun and bragging rights. Bring a superhero related prize if you like (see Dress Code below).

Format: Rolling Rumble. Each round, play someone you haven't played yet with a similar record. You can use the same army only twice during the tournament.

Points: 1000-point army using C3G released figures/cards (proxies acceptable if similar). We will post pre-built armies in the next post.

Maps: We will start with the five maps listed in the third post and add more if needed.

Glyphs: We will use C3G glyphs unless a map dictates otherwise.

What You should Bring: Good Sportsmanship. If you want to use C3G released figures from the past couple of years, bring those and their cards. You can bring your own armies if you want, but we have plenty of pre-built armies on hand for you to try out.

Food: Bring a snack or side to share. The main course for dinner will be provided.

Dress Code: Save your Halloween costume. Come dressed as your favorite superhero, if you like. Mandatory for kids . . . and Kai. We will vote on best dressed. This is how we will dole out prizes.

Registration: If you think you may be attending please post in this thread. We want to make sure that we have enough maps, armies, chairs, and food.

For those of you confused about the location between me and my brother. I am located north of Seattle. I am not hosting. My brother is located just north of Vancouver, WA (which is just a short drive north of Portland, OR). My brother is hosting, so this event will be held in the Portland/Vancouver area, not way up in the Arctic, north of Seattle.

All C3G special rules will apply. We may need to remind each other of those rules as we go . . . it has been more than a couple years since I've played C3G. We will do a brief overview of the differences before we start. The only potential additional special rules would be granted to those youngsters in the crowd - which are still to be determined (starting with a hero glyph, etc).
