It would be great if we could get a list of Unique Heroes that Myrddin can benefit with his d20 boost. There can't be that many that qualify, can there?

In addition to the list @IshMEL made above, see Definitive List: Abilities Requiring d20 & d20 Enhancers, although Huge figures are not affected. As far as the best figures to use with Myrddin, it would be ones where a 20-sided die roll can wound or kill or take over opponent's and /or keep high-cost heroes and squads alive as it must be worth it for Myrddin to sacrifice his life. From a mathematical approach you would have to kill or save 15 points (90 points / 6 life) for it to be worth the sacrifice, although in-game point values may affect it. So these are the ones that can be worth at least 15 points to keep alive/destroy/take over:

I noticed the other day that Reaper makes a nice, inexpensive (albeit unpainted) version of Myrddin's figure here. The pose is a bit different, but it's clearly the same guy even disregarding the identical name, and with the right paint job it should match nicely.

Can Kelda fully heal Myrddin every time she attempts to heal him? She could roll a 1, and you could just add 19 wound markers to his card, which would then be instantly removed by the ability that they are aiding. Or does the part where it would kill him stop this from happening?


EDIT: Nope, this was addressed earlier in the thread, I'm just blind. If he dies boosting the heal, he can't be healed. Would be neat to add that to the Rulings.

That and you can only put 1-2 wound markers on him for that ability.

Can you use Mystic Sacrifice for Azazel's Rejected by Death ability? For example, after revealing an order marker for say Q10 and Myrddin is within 4 spaces of Q10 and you roll for Rejected by Death can you activate Mystic Sacrifice?

No, because the ability is on the army card of Azazel, and not on Q10's army card.

I see, that's a shame. Took Azazel to my last tourney and got 18 for Azazel like 5 times.
