Leading a youth retreat this weekend with my youth group. Probably going to be busting out some Cosmic Encounter with the kids. Probably some Mafia and other large-player games.

Played Heroscape and Agricola last night.

My Elf Wizard army just barely edged out gamjuven's Monks, Master Wu, Microcorp, and Kumiko. It game down to Emiroon and Master Wu beating on each other until Wu finally fell.
Johrdawn was the early star, raining flame and killing 3 Microcorp with a single attack. Kumiko was almost able to turn the tide though, taking advantage of the Elves weak defense and tendency to bunch up.
Looking for a way to get casual players involved in Heroscape? Do your opponents lack the interest or knowledge to build/draft their own armies? If so, check out Project 500!

Been playing Bang! a lot lately. A lot of good shootouts, and passing the dynamite is always fun, though it seems to kill the person who started it pretty frequently. Very fun game, though when we play, it always seems like everyone always shoots Dad.

The dynamite's great.

When we scrounge up enough people to play, for whatever reason KidScaper is the one everyone shoots at. Last time we had a game of 7 and he was murdered early on, without provocation and from across the circle, by the Sheriff. We found out later he'd been the only Deputy.
