I would propose a minor edit to ECHOING BEAT
Whenever an Orc that you control makes a 20-sided die roll they may add or subtract 1 to that roll.

Also, i'm a bit sad Nimble Climber didn't make it on the archers, but if it wasn't in the book, it wasn't in the book.

Add or subtract? Interesting, that gives us more design space for if anything ever needs a low roll or needs to hit a "sweet spot" for a really clutch effect. I'm cool with +1 or -1 as an option. I don't think I've seen that used often.

Note that the designs are starting points for the Fellowship; they will hash things out between them and could make the changes you described. But please keep further discussion in another thread.

Otherwise a fellowship looks less like a design group and more like a playtest group. I'm sure lots of changes will occur but at least we have a good starting point.

I propose that we start our next Fellowship with these units by creating a Workbook for each card and then voting people into said Fellowship to collaborate on designing them.

Note that most of the designs are not quite fully fledged out. If that bothers you and you would prefer to see the designs refined more in brainstorming before moving into a Fellowship, do not hesitate to vote no on those designs.

I'm inclined to avoid Orc Archer synergy here; they have so many bonding options already. I would be fine with either Death Chaser bonding (Large Wild) or Durgeth Savage bonding (Savage). But no bonding at all is also fine with me.

It would be cool if we could represent them turning to stone in daylight, but there's no concept of daylight in Heroscape. Maybe we can do that for a scenario sometime.

Uruk-hai Hunters do not take leaving engagement attacks from the chosen figure this turn. After moving the Uruk-hai Hunter, place the chosen figure adjacent to it on an unoccupied same-level land space, if possible. A figure moved by Uruk-hai Hunters never takes any leaving engagement attacks.

It seems we are considering a power like this for the common squad we'll meet in The Two Towers at Helm's Deep:

BRED FOR WAR
At the start of the game, place 1 War Bred marker on an Uruk-Hai Soldier Army Card for each Uruk-Hai Soldier Army Card in your army. After an Uruk-Hai Soldier rolls defense dice against a normal attack, you may remove 1 War Bred marker from its Army Card to ignore all wounds inflicted by that attack.

Maybe we could find a good way to port that back to the Hunters in place of the carry power if it is too controversial.

ORC INTIMIDATION

Orc Intimidation might be too good, even with the defense subtraction. Another direction to go would be to have Lurtz be *just* a heavy hitter with no explicit bonus to Orc figures. I think we had talked about putting most of the synergy on Ugluk. Another direction to go could be him giving a *debuff* to common squads within a few spaces, similar to C3V's Akumaken.
