I even went for a ''two pods'' army. Let's see how it's going to do against the real synergic stuff.

For the curious: infectedsloth was in late with his submission, but superfrog, mensch that he is, decided to step aside to give his spot to IS. Hence the change in (all but two of the) matchups from those posted late last night.

should be starting shortly. HS2010 took his double dragon army, and I responded with Orcs.

I narrowly squeaked out a win against Heroscaper2010

It was an intense game that started out HS2010 leading out Zelrig (Greenscales had named Charos their King). I won initiatve though and was able to scatter and Tornak was able to hit Zelrig for 4 quick wounds in the first round, but Zelrig was able to Kill Tornak in just 2 attacks of 3v5. (after a blocked 4v5 and 3v7)

A crucial Round 4 occured when I killed Zelrig and HS lost two OMs and I then killed the last 2 GScales and he finished up the round by moving up Charos.

At that point it was Grimnak, Nerak, 11 Heavies vs. Charos and the rats.

After some positioning Charos killed 2 straggling Heavies before he was surrounded by Grimnak and Heavies. I spent my time attacking x2 with attacks of 4, while Charos hit Nerak for 2 wounds and then concentrated on Grimnak.

The battle commenced. My first attack 4/4 did 4 wounds on the whiffing Charos. Huge. In my next 7 attacks Charos got 4 counterstrikes and blocked the other 3 attacks before i broke through for another 2 wounds (6 total) Charos finally killed Grimnak and I rushed in for a Holdir imbued Nerak which did 2 wounds (8 total) and then had to start attacking with 3 attack Heavies. 1/3....0/5 Charos whiffs and dies leaving me with 1 life Nerak and 4 heavies....vs. 4 rats. easy, right?

We engage next round and a 1v4 kills Nerak.

I got the win over Ixe, somewhat avenging my previous 0-3 OHS record against him. I used his Cathar and he used his Gorillitroopers. Things weren't looking so good when I had lost 7 Cathar and Dan and only killed one Trooper, but I had some good rolls towards the end (including a big Braced Spear hit on the second-to-last Trooper) that swung it back solidly it my favor. I won with 4 Cathar and a full-health Marcus left.
