Mastermind sounds good. Just played him in a Gundam tonight as a partner for Amahl and Shadow King. Sadly I was facing Freddy and Freddy just melted Mastermind's mind.

Oh, I guess my one other note is that we probably don't need more MechaG vs Godzilla games? I feel pretty confident in the closeness of the match-up at this point.

Updated the SP with Cyborg because I think that makes more sense - naming thing is still an open question.

R1: Smiley selects Ray for Corruption and drops both Time Bombs on the road. Mecha moves (Ghost 12). Godzilla moves, destroys some trees. Mecha (Ghost 10) Flies to high ground and Twin Masers(2,15) for 2 wounds. Godzilla moves, 4wounds Mecha. Mecha (Ghost 8 -2) wounds Godzilla who 2wounds Mecha.

R2: Godzilla 4wounds Mecha. Mecha (Ghost 4 -2) flips out, 7wounds Godzilla who 2wounds Mecha. Smiley Corrupts Amuro. Godzilla misses Mecha who 5wounds Godzilla and Regains Control.

R3: Mecha goes Ghost(1-2) 2wounds Godzilla who wounds Mecha who KOs Godzilla. Mecha moves, KOs Smiley.

I really though Godzilla was going to crush Mecha here when he it failed all the Ghost rolls round 1. Then followed it with the Boss Smiley corruption but Godzilla almost blanked out on 10 dice. Mecha also got super lucky on the flip rolls after that and started dealing wounds in heaps.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Amuro Ray: Full & MechaGodzilla: 7/15 Life left.

R1: Old One Eye moves the pack. Mecha (G 1) flips out immediately at the sight and charges forward. Old One Eye charges,wounds Mecha, the pack follows. Mecha moves, knocks off Carols' head. Bob moves, wounds Mecha, Carol moves, misses, Ted moves 2wounds Mecha from low ground, Ringo moves. Mecha knocks off Bob's head. Bob & Carol die. Bane regains control, for now.

R2: Ted moves, misses, Ringo moves, misses. Mecha (Ghost 11 -10) flips out uses his SA to blow the heads off of Ted & Ringo. Ted wounds Mecha, Ringo misses. Mecha KOs Ted & Ringo. Satanus moves, 3wounds Mecha who 3wounds Satanus. Bane regains.

R3: Satanus misses. Mecha (Ghost 17 -6) Twin Masers Satanus for 2wounds. Satanus 3wounds Mecha (Ghost 10 -6) who flips and KOs Satanus. Old One Eye wounds Mecha who moves and KOs Cursed Earth T-Rex. Bane regains.

R4: OOE moves, misses. Mecha (Ghost 7 -4) flips, 2wounds Golgotha. OOE moves, misses. Mecha KOs Golgotha. OOE 3wounds Mecha who 4wounds OOE. Bane regains.

R5: OOE KOs Mecha and Bane looks nervous. Bane Venom Injects(19) and wounds OOE who 3wounds Bane who VI(17) 2wounds OOE who KOs Bane.

Valiant effort by Mecha but the dinos wore it down eventually. Pretty strong with Bane bonus and almost always flipping due to all the huge figures. Good chance this goes the other way if Bane wins initiative inthe last round.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Solid fun design. Feels pretty close on points. At 900, the best Driver choices put it over 1000 and prices it out of most tournament settings. Shadowcat would be pretty great against a range based team.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Really enjoyed this one and the figure fits way better on the battlefield than Godzilla. With its better movement, especially with Amuro it is pretty nimble and able to grab high ground depending on the map. Actually taking Shadowcat and parking on high ground is really viable. The Amuro combo is strong but not horribly so. Godzilla still had a fighting chance in that one.

Round 1: Initiative Outsiders. Katana has Black Lightning, Metamorpho, and herself advance. Batman has Geo-Force and Black Lightning advance.
Mechagodzilla flies forward. Dazzler follows.
Batman has Katana and Metamorpho advance.
Mechagodzilla advances and rolls one pitiful skull, which Katana blocks. Dazzler advances.
Black Lightning hits Mechagodzilla with a lightning lash wound.
Mechagodzilla flips sides and attacks Black Lightning with his normal attack. But he rolls poorly and takes two wounds from Chain Lightning.
Mecha flips back over.

Round 2: Initiative Outsiders. Katana, Geo-Force, and Metamorpho advance. Batman uses Mission Prep but Katana whiffs. Geo-Force blasts Mecha for a wound.
Mecha uses Twin Maser Cannon to put two wounds on Katana. It misses Geo. Dazzler can’t hit Geo, but does Dazzle him.
Metamorpho punches Mecha for a fifth and sixth wound. Katana gives Mecha a quick four wounds, bringing him down to 5 life already.
Mecha Masers Metamorpho for two wounds but misses Geo. Dazzler can’t hit Geo but does Dazzle Katana.
Geo drops some rock to wound Mecha, then punches it for two wounds. Black Lightning’s lash finishes off Mechagodzilla.
Mastermind hits Geo-Force for two wounds and Dazzler hits him for a third.
Round 3: Initiative Outsiders. Katana gets an unblockable on Mastermind. Katana KO’s Mastermind. Geo-Force drops lava tile to wound Dazzler then punches her out.

Unit Summary: This was pretty one-sided. An offensively efficient team of unique heroes seems well-equipped to mop the floor with Mechagodzilla. The dice definitely favored the Outsiders here, but it was a tough match up for Mecha in general. He did score a few Twin Maser wounds before going down.

Surtur advances, rolls poorly, and blasts Mecha for one wound. Then he fails his Twilight Sword roll.
Mecha punches down on Surtur for two wounds after moving him with Flying Drag. Dazzler blasts Surtur for a wound and then dazzles him.
Surtur one-shots Dazzler from height disadvantage, then fails his Twilight Sword roll.

Round 2: Mecha takes a searing heat wound. Initiative Surtur. He punches Mecha for three wounds, then fails his Twilight Sword roll.
Mecha flips and punches down on Surtur for four wounds.
Surtur avoids a swipe, dances away, and slashes Mecha for four wounds. He fails his Twilight Sword roll.
Mecha engages Surtur and punches him for two wounds.
Surtur avoids another swipe, grabs height, and smacks Mecha for three wounds. Twilight Sword misses.
Mecha catches Surtur whiffing and punches him out.

Unit Summary: This one felt about as close as it gets, as in one more turn Surtur probably would’ve finished off Mechagodzilla and had a good chance against Mastermind one-on-one after that. If Surtur had hit Twilight Sword at all, he would’ve won here.
