Re: The Book of Magenta (Breathing Period)
It will have to be range 5 since the first power is a reuse, but I am on board with consistent range.
I don't know that she needs a third power. In workshopping I experimented with a similar power relating her to Girder, but it wasn't received so well. Like Superheroes and Comics?

Re: The Book of Magenta (Breathing Period)
OK, no worries. Maybe something to stick in your back pocket if testers feel like she's not hitting the roll enough to be worthwhile.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Magenta (Breathing Period)
She seems like she'd be great with Constantine or maybe even Brainiac 5 and M-E Lad (for a cheap second Legionnaire). Heck, throw in all of them and get some truly crazy D20 rolls going.

Re: The Book of Magenta (Breathing Period)
It would be nice to get a figure to pair with B5. If I want to use his D20 manipulation for some other build like Insects for instance he needs another legionnaire and Magenta seems way more useful than MELad

A cheap D20 Legionnaire would be nice. I have a few ideas, but nothing solid.

Re: The Book of Magenta (Breathing Period)
Always cool to see another Rogue. The fact that her main hook is a generalist thing lets you pair her up with Wally if you want, which is nice.
It's been a while since we workshopped this.... was Girder getting affected by EMP Disruption on the table? I remember him getting some kind of shout-out in the design at one point. I think "figures with the Steel Skin special power" would be a reasonable third call-out alongside Androids and Cyborgs. |

Re: The Book of Magenta (Breathing Period)
SP updated with 5 range on the second power (to be consistent across both powers) and added both a Superspeed and Steel Skin callout to the second power. I'll run the checklists soon but I'd like to nail down mini pics before moving on to Initial Testing.
@Spidey'tilIDie
, did you say you had the miniature?

Re: The Book of Magenta (Breathing Period)
Does it make sense to update her attack range to 5 as well? I like to keep consistency with those kinds of things but I get that’s probably personal taste.
Maybe I’m just not getting the theme, but how do the Superspeed and Steel Skin additions help? The Flashes don’t really have any iconic D20 powers, and EMP just hurts an opponent’s Girder. |

Re: The Book of Magenta (Breathing Period)
I think the way the first sentence is constructed makes the reference to "that figure" in the second sentence confusing. I believe the "that figure" reference is meant to indicate the figure that's being targeted for the D20 power, in which case she'd be using it protectively/for power denial.

Re: The Book of Magenta (Breathing Period)
Probably makes sense to also include the pending Liquid Metal special power, which is loosely based off of Steel Skin and should probably be included as well.

Re: The Book of Magenta (Breathing Period)
Including Superspeed in EMP Disruption muddies the theme a little bit.... I'd rename the power to something a little more distinctive at that point because it'd be tapping into something a little different, thematically, than a straight up-and-down 'emp' theme. I'm not sure Superspeed is necessary since the Flashes don't have d20s anyway, though.
