In Spider-Verse he just flies in in Leopardon, but in the TV show he fights for a bit then summons Leo. Could tie it to wounds on Takuya's card, or just any sort of drop power. Or even place Leo on spaces that Takuya occupied and immediately put Takuya in Leo when he drops.

I’d probably just do it more like the comic appearance where they fly in together as reinforcements. Just seems more elegant that way. But both are interesting options.

[COLOR=red]Summary: Pulled T-Bolts as a stock army, not really thinking about Spider-Verse not having a great answer to Meteorite. Leopardon took her down, but also got taken out himself in the process, and didn't really get to use his powers. He would have lasted longer, but for some really dreadful defense rolls: pulled 1 shield 3 times in a row.

Spider-Verse did a decent job battling back (on a really crazy streak, mostly - they managed to drop Zemo fast and kill some OMs), but eventually went down.

Notes: Spider-Cat hopped into the driver's seat on Spider-UK's first turn. Leopardon moved up and tried to Arc Turn Strike Atlas, but missed both rolls. Duked it out with Meteorite in round 2; destroyed her in 3 attacks, but got destroyed himself, across 4 Meteorite/Atlas attacks.

[COLOR=red]Summary: reran the game, swapped out Meteorite for MACH-I and a Skrull to reduce the denial shenanigans.

Leopardon annihilated Atlas with auto-wounds, but then got nickel-and-dimed to death by Swordplay attacks from Zemo. Definitely made a splash here - he was the big front guy for the Spiders and took a lot of attention. If he'd lasted one more turn he would have had a shot at auto-wounding Songbird to death, which would have really swung things. Alas, he didn't make it.

Leopardon aside, though, the Spiders actually had much worse luck in this one - probably it was closer to 'normal', but went from really good to kinda bad, so swung the victory margin a lot. So the Spiders ended up losing by more.

Notes: Once again piloted by Spider-Cat. Used Arc Turn Strike on Atlas to score 2 wounds (on the second roll, after missing the first). Polished Atlas off with Sword Vigor (4/5 skulls) next round. Dealt 0 wounds to Zemo in 1 attack. Destroyed by Zemo across 2 chains of Swordplay attacks.

[COLOR=red]Summary: This one was super close, and a lot of fun. The Spiders tried to blitz Megatron early on, but couldn't quite pull it off. They did manage a quick win against Soundwave, though, and mopped him up pretty quick. Leopardon spread a lot of damage around - he could have finished Jason off, but he was afraid the weaker Spiders would be stuck trying to re-kill him and mostly left him alone after that, trying to mop up the other weaker figures that could extend Jason's life instead.

Leopardon eventually got downed, but the other Spiders continued in that vein. It almost worked out, but the Slashers narrowly won out in the endgame. Ravage was surprisingly the MVP here - he put 3 wounds on Gwen, OHKOed Spider-Girl with his SA, and tanked a crazy number of attacks to stay in the game.

Notable that Mecha-Spider String got some use here - turned out to be more relevant against beefier huge guys (which is what I was hoping). Some really fun moments in this game - Soundwave kicked off Operation: Disruption at the start of the second round. Megatron finished off Gwen and Spidey rescued the OM. But, because of O, he wasn't going to be able to bond... until Leopardon swooped in and took down Soundwave. But then Megatron cowed the OM off Spider-Man anyway.

Notes: Sword Vigored Megatron in the first round for 2 wounds. Dragged him to low ground with Mecha-Spider String. Dealt 0 wounds to Megatron in 1 attack. Dealt 2 wounds to Soundwave (destroying him) in 1 attack. Took 3 wounds from Megatron in 1 attack. Dealt 3 wounds to Jason in 1 attack. Took 1 wound from Ravage's SA. OHKOed Venom Pigeon. Dealt 2 wounds to Ravage in 1 attack. Took 2 wounds (destroying him) from Jason in 2 attacks.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: A lot of fun, and he fills a unique niche in the faction. Rough W/L, but I feel like he personally isn't doing badly, the Spiders just still have some gaps as a faction.

Early movement from each side. All of the N’garai rush forward, while the Lady Blackhawk enters Leopardon, and the other Adventurers move up.

ROUND 2 : Demon initiative.
More movement from Demons as they begin to swarm. Mr. Fantastic each kill an N’garai. Trigon deals 1 wound to Mr. Fantastic.

ROUND 3 : Demon initiative.
N’garai go on the offensive, starting to put some wounds on Crystal. Tough is coming through for them, the Adventurers struggle to take them out. Adventurers finish the round by killing an N’garai.

ROUND 4 : Demon initiative.
Trigon blasts Crystal for 3 damage. Leopardon tries to Arc Turn Strike Trigon but fails. Crystal falls to an N’garai and is replaced. The remaining Adventurers start stomping out N’garai, Trigon transfers his one wound to Iceman then attacks him, dealing 2 wounds.

ROUND 5 : Adventurer initiative.
Iceman kills an N’garai, Leopardon’s Arc Turn Strike wounds Trigon. Leopardon yanks Trigon to low ground with his string, and puts another 2 wounds on him with Arc Turn Strike. Demons can’t really get anything going, as Leopardon blasts Trigon with Sword Vigor for 3 wounds.

ROUND 6 : Demon initiative.
Trigon finally manages to take out Iceman. Trigon deals 2 wounds to Leopardon, but Leopardon retaliates with Arc Turn Strike for the kill. Mr. Fantastic then pummels the last N’garai, taking out the Demons. Adventurers win!

Post-Game Thoughts : Felt like the red team was in control for most of this. Leopardon was able to ignore Trigon’s Magical Defense, and really pile the wounds onto him. This felt like a pretty optimal matchup for Leopardon, but he didn’t feel particularly overbearing.

Invincible flies directly towards Iron Patriot for a Super Punch. War Machine deals 2 wounds with his Auto Chain Gun, and Invincible deals 3 wounds to Patriot. Hulkbuster gets adjacent to Martian Manhunter and attacks, dealing 3 wounds. War Machine gets onto the high ground water tile in the center of the map, and deals 1 wound to Green Arrow. MM uses Telepathic Mind Link, Invincible puts Iron Patriot on his last life.

ROUND 3 : Red Team initiative.
Invincible and Iron Patriot both swing at each other but fail to do any damage. Another Telepathic Mind Link, Invincible manages to kill Iron Patriot, and MM deals 2 wounds to War Machine. Optimus engages Invincible and attacks, dealing a wound. MM deals 1 wound to War Machine,

ROUND 4 : Red Team initiative.
MM moves away from Hulkbuster and finishes War Machine. Optimus takes WM’s Order Marker and deals 1 wound to Invincible. Invincible fails to wound Optimus, Hulkbuster flies in and deals 1 wound. Telepathic Mind Link, Optimus and Hulkbuster both take some heavy damage.

ROUND 5 : Blue Team initiative. Invincible heals 1 wound.
Optimus and Hulkbuster finally manage to take out Invincible. Silk Spectre enters Leopardon. MM blasts Hulkbuster and puts him on his last wound, but Hulkbuster engages Green Arrow and wipes him out. MM uses Mind Link, he finishes off Hulkbuster while Leopardon moves up.

ROUND 6 : Red Team initiative.
MM moves up and attacks Optimus, no wounds. Batman moves out of the start zone, Optimus puts 2 wounds onto MM. Vigor Sword Strike to Optimus, 1 wound.

ROUND 7 : Blue Team initiative.
Optimus finishes Martian Manhunter. He then goes after Leopardon, dealing 3 wounds. Leopardon retaliates but fails to wound. The two trade more blows, with neither robot falling.

ROUND 8 : Red Team initiative.
More giant robot battles, but Optimus gets the upper hand and destroys Leopardon. Silk Spectre takes 2 wounds from the attack. She fails her attack on Optimus, but she manages to finish him off with her Counter Strike.

ROUND 9 : Red Team initiative.
Batman puts 1 wound on Silk Spectre, while she does the same thing with her Counter Strike. Echo moves up.

ROUND 10 : Red Team initiative.
Comes down to a brutal fight of Batman vs. Silk Spectre and Echo. He takes out Spectre early, takes some hits from Echo, but manages to take her out in one big hit. Blue Team wins!

Post-Game Thoughts : Crazy, crazy close game. Leopardon didn’t perform as well this game as he did in game 1, and it’s entirely possible red team would have won if Sword Vigor had rolled 2 dice instead of 1.

Thoughts on the Tested Unit's Cost, Balance, and Draftability : Leopardon feels good. I was a bit worried about his price after game 1, but game 2 has me feeling fine. I definitely think he’s draftable, Sword Vigor is a crazy strong and useful power. He’ll probably see some use in Spider-Verse teams in the future as that faction rolls out as well.

General Thoughts on the Tested Unit : Leopardon is really, really fun. First time I've used a VDO! Leo feels like a mobile underdog that is built to fight other large/huge figures, which is a fun dynamic. 280 felt good to me, he loses a lot of power after Sword Vigor and his normal attacks aren’t anything special, but he can still prove useful once his big power is used.

Glad you enjoyed him! Spider-Man (Takuya) is up next in this design spot so Leopardon should be getting some more synergy soon.

I wanted Gundam to be more expensive and more powerful so I intentionally undershot it here. Pretty sure my pilot will be better though, that can't be helped.
