Here we have something on which I've been sitting for a while.

The figure used for this unit is a Pathfinder Battles figure from the Wrath of the Righteous set. The name of the figure is Mounted Alain.

Historically, the Knights Templar demonstrated an unflinching obeisance to edicts that left them girded by a belief in their physical, moral, and spiritual superiority over the enemies of Christendom. Jandar has summoned the venerable Sir Bernard de Tremelay, Grandmaster of the Order of the Temple of Solomon, to remind his cavalry of this fact and thus revive the Latin Rule on the battlefields of Valhalla.

LATIN RULE
If all Order Markers for a round are placed on Knight Army Cards and at least one Order Marker is placed on this card, all Large Knights you control become sanctified for the entire round. Sanctified Knights receive 1 additional defense die and are never attacked when leaving an engagement by small or medium figures.

GALLOPING CHARGE
Bernard de Tremelay receives 2 additional attack dice when attacking a figure that was at least 4 spaces away from himself at the start of his turn.

CRUSADE COMMANDER
After revealing an Order Marker on this Army Card and taking a turn with Bernard de Tremelay, if he attacked an opponent's figure this turn, you may take a turn with another Large Human Hero or Squad you control with a Range of 1.

Here we see one of the most blatant Band-Aid units in my custom library—albeit a fun Band-Aid. LATIN RULE enables Bernard de Tremelay and his fellow Templar Cavalry knights to slip through screens with nigh impunity while receiving protection from weaker attacks, and CRUSADE COMMANDER poses a severe threat whenever the Grandmaster is within striking distance of an enticing target. Depending on the exact game state and army composition, boosts from GALLOPING CHARGE and either of Righteous Smite or Knight's Courage can be reasonably stacked to toss out a sum of 11-23 attack dice in a single turn before accounting for height and Glyphs. I suspect he's a bit underpriced for what he offers, but it balances on the table because the classic Templars are overpriced.
