Wording:

MASTER STRIKE 14
When an enemy is moved adjacent to Master Gundam, roll a d20. On a 14+, that enemy takes 1 wound.

SUIBU SAIKENKOUKO SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 1. Attack 3.
This attack action includes up to 4 attacks. If each attack is against the same figure, the 4th attack has +2 Attack.

SEKIHA TENKYOUKEN SPECIAL ATTACK
Attack 4.
Once per game, if Master Gundam did not use a move action this activation, it may use this ability. Choose 4 spaces in a straight line. Figures other than Master Gundam (or its driver?) on or adjacent to that line are affected. For each skull, you may roll 1 additional die. You may continue rolling 1 additional die for each additional skull. If you have 3+ blanks, defenders avoid the attack.

One clarification question - would Sekiha Tenkyouken Special Attack also hit the Master Gundam's Driver, since it's adjacent to that line? I know normally you can't hit dudes inside a VDO but given that it's potentially hitting its own pilot that seems like it would be different.

The rule for full cover VDOs is you can't attack or be attacked by figures outside the VDO. So like every rando Explosion SA isn't a hard counter.

Though admittedly while Master Gundam is not inside itself it isn't really "outside" itself either.

The intent of the rule is inside v inside only though.
