Darse The Champion

Quick Assault
Darse may attack any or all figures adjacent to her. Roll each attack separately.

Darse's Loyal Defense
All friendly figures adjacent to Darse may add one die to their defense.

Lots of recycled abilities like usual. They came from Cathar Spearmen, Raelin 2, and Thorgrim. I made her for my girlfriend since she loves the knights. Her red hair and name comes from my girlfriend. I wanted to give them a "new" type of bonded hero. One with very, very limited range was the answer. I priced her at 115 for a couple reasons. 1. A high price for a figure that can sit behind a knight wall and attack figures with range is worth it. 2. She fits perfect with 4 squads of knights and Gilbert. We like to play a lot of all melee battles so it's quite fitting. 3. Since she's the highest priced Human Champion, she makes a lot of either or options in an army.

The strategy behind her is obvious, sit behind a wall of knights and get a range attack and 4 melee attacks is one order marker. Adding to that, she also gives her screen a defense boost. Once she gets engaged she needs to engage herself to many other figures. Her survivability is questionable. Against any squad she will fall quickly, but being able to stay behind a knight wall increases that drastically.

Also I apologize if you find anywhere in this that it says "Darc", that's how I spell it, but would be easier pronounced as Darse.

Made from a repainted and dewinged Raelin 2, Denrick's shield, hair extensions from Thorgrim, and some green stuff.

Marcu Esenwein

Life Drain
Each time Marcu Esenwein destroys a figure, you may remove a wound marker from this Army Card. Marcu Esenwein cannot Life Drain destructible objects.

Chilling Touch
After moving and before attacking, Marcu Esenwein may attempt a Chilling Touch. To do this, choose a figure adjacent to Marcu Esenwein and roll the 20-sided die.
-If you roll a 1-13, nothing happens.
-If you roll a 14-16, the chosen figure receives 1 wound.
-If you roll a 17-18, the chosen figure receives 2 wounds.
-If you roll a 19 or higher, the chosen figure receives 3 wounds.
Marcu Esenwein's Chilling Touch does not affect Soulborgs or Destructible objects.
Flying
When counting spaces for Marcu Esenwein's movement, ignore elevations. Marcu Esenwein may fly over water without stopping, pass over figures without becoming engaged, and fly over obstacles such as ruins. When Marcu Esenwein starts to fly, if he is engaged he will take any leaving engagement attacks.

I think if I keep him with normal flying it'll keep his cost under 100. Also, it will make him feel less like Cyprien, but still keep him thematic.

I really like this guy, Cyprien is my favorite figure, but 195 points is sort of tough to put in an army. Now with the new Marcu I can use him as a mid cost filler. I can't wait to see what he can do.

Vikron The Kyrie Warrior

Quick Draw Special Attack
Range 6 + Special Attack 2
Vikron may attack one non-adjacent figure within 6 clear sight spaces, even if Vikron is engaged, and one figure adjacent to Vikron. Roll the non-adjacent attack first, then roll 4 attack dice for the adjacent attack. Each figure rolls defense dice separately.

Range Defense Aura
All figures you control within 4 clear sight spaces of Vikron add 1 to their defense dice from a nonadjacent attack. Vikron's Range Defensive Aura does not affect Vikron.

Range Defense Aura is meant to actually hurt Vydar and other range units. He could make some units "broken" by stacking with Raelin. I think if I "nerf" him with in home drafting rules he'll be fine.

Stealth Flying
When counting spaces for Vikron's movement, ignore elevations. Vikron may fly over water without stopping, pass over obstacles such as ruins. When Vikron starts to fly, if he is engaged he will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

The making of Vikron (Name credited to Syvarris45)
I first of all painted his skin tone a little lighter and his weapons to a shinier silver. His wings are just Raelin II's flipped upside down. I painted his wings with a really odd mixture of paint. He's very basic, so pretty much he's just Agent Carr with wings.

Long before the Battle of All Time started, Vydar was shunned by the other Kyrie. He was an undersized Kyrie who was sick of the way the other Kyrie treated him. After a run in with the wicked Utgar, Vydar flew deep into the Forgotten Forest. Hours after flying, he became parched. Stopping at a small spring, he took a drink from the spring which caused him to see weird people from a planet far away. What he saw was Earth in 2200. He was obsessed, from the clothes they wore to the weapons they used. He started mirroring them. The other Kyrie laughed at his "new" and "different" ways. He started a new breed of small, quick, and tricky Kyrie. Kyrie that couldn't stand up against the larger Kyrie started following this tricky little Kyrie.

Once the Battle of All Time began, Vydar had no allegiance to the other generals. He would never trust them after the suffering they put him through.

He recruited man of these special trained gun men and his own tricky set of assassins. He chose Vikron to lead these troops into battle.

To-Rak-Sa

First off is my sniper type Marro. He's not very thematic as his gun isn't really linked to him or anything. I threw him together with some remaining parts. Not very spectacular.

Pinpoint Accuracy (Wording needs work)
When rolling attack dice against a figure, if To-Bak-Sa rolls a skull on every dice, the defending figure receives a wound for every skull, and cannot roll any defense dice.

Count the minimum number of spaces between the attacker and the Dakota Plains Tribesman. Add this number to your die roll. If you roll a 20 or higher, ignore any wounds the
Dakota Plains Tribesman just received.

These guys are a nod to the historical culture in my area. They can gain up on larger figures, like Bison. They seem to play somewhat like the Dwarves, given their Strategic Bonding, and the ability to take down larger figures. Also, they give Brave Arrow a more reliable bonding ability. I don't like how he doesn't buff these guys with his Melee Enhancement... I would change them to Scouts, but I don't like them getting a move enhancement from Mittens, and also it would effect how Eyota works. (Custom below this)

This guy is another bonding option for the MRT and the Dakota Plains Tribesmen. His Distracted Takedown comes from hunting Bison. So in essence, this guy does best when picking off targets who are tied down by his friendly tribesmen.

Eyota was a name I found on the internet, it is a Lakota name meaning "greatest".

You could mine common D&D figures for ideas as well. Unless someone has already done that and I'm just unaware. Anyway, great stuff!

I'm really liking the look of the figures, especially the one all the way on the right. I can't be too helpful on how you put the customs together, although I can always provide feedback on the design of the units. When putting things up on the site, I usually only make a full card for my more polished work and write things up in text form when I'm still work shopping it.

Grishnakh, I was thinking Kee-Mo-Shi stats minus one attack, plus double attack and minus mindshackle. I really limited myself on these ones. I didn't wanna cut up 10s of dollars of figures so I kept it simple and tried to throw some guys together. Hopefully this is just my start. Glad you liked 'em!

Ixe, glad you like 'em. Gettingf feedback on the design is all I need. As I can tell from all of you guys, everyone likes the one on the right. Which is honestly what I expected, he/she was the original thought that came to my head. The other ones were just the remaining pieces that I had from the far right one.

Belgarath, it's more simple than it looks. You'll be able to seem some of my defects in it when I post finalized pictures. I like seeing new Marros too. Easily one of my favorite races.

Arch-vile, I see that now! Those things were one of my favorite creature things in Star Wars. Must have had some unconscious inspiration on the idea.
