The Book of Gorilla City Warriors

I'd prefer to see the bonding power associated with an Order Marker on this card, not the unique hero's. Just seems cleaner that way. Also, to clean up the timing issue, how about we just make it an "after taking a turn with Gorilla City Warriors" you get to take a turn with the bonding hero? That way no confusion.
Finally, as you probably guessed, I'm in favor of the Gorilla City Warriors name.
Otherwise, everything here looks good to me.

Just a thought, but how about just a single autoshield if they are within 3 spaces of a Telepath or another Gorilla City Warrior? It'd be neat to have them reflective of both Grodd and the Gorillanators.

True. However these guys are worse than Skrulls, having no range and less conditional defense, yet they hit 5 points above due to bonding. So furrier Skrulls without guns.

Usage. (I agree, it would be clearer if on this card; how does this look?)

Other concerns: whether to choose a specific Simian or keep it as full bonding

Well, who knows if that theoryscaped cost will hold up. That said, they do have 3 figures per unit versus 2 for Skrull Warriors.

Also, a group of Gorillas is called a Troop... which alliterates nicely with Telepathic... so maybe Telepathic Troop Something for the defensive power name? Telepathic Troop Defense?

You could also have a band of something. Maybe Telepathic Band? I'm not sure if these guys have Super Strength. They are sophisticated gorillas of a superior species.

After revealing an Order Marker on a Unique Simian Hero you control and taking a turn with that Simian, you may take a turn with the Gorilla Warriors. If a Gorilla Warrior is adjacent to that Simian when attacking this turn, add 1 to its attack.

I like this a lot, but I think the +1 attack is unnecessary. Simians will already have have good attacks. Also, the way it is worded, it is unclear who gets the +1 anyways. Put me down for preferring straight up old fashioned bonding.

When defending with a Gorilla Warrior, add 1 defense die for each Gorilla Warrior you control within 2 spaces of that Gorilla Warrior and for each friendly Telepath within 6 spaces of that Gorilla Warrior, up to a maximum of +3 defense dice.

I am not a fan of this direction. Yes they telepathy, but they don't use it to stack and boost defense. Also, if they were negated and lost this power, that defense of 3 REALLY becomes a major theme fail, because these guys are Gorillas. I think they need Grodd's defense of 5 without his defense power. These guys do use their telepathy though to communicate with each other and share vital information to win battles. How about this like with the Protectors of Ullar:

TELEPATHIC BATTLE TACTICS
When attacking with a Gorilla Warrior, roll 1 additional attack die for every wound that has been inflicted on the defending figure by Gorilla Warriors you control this turn.
