Squads are really tough on the calculator, so hard comparison, but compared to one Fire Demon, one Death Army Trooper has better movement (with the passive movement included), passive auto-wounding, one better defense, better range, and way more efficient and reliable resurrection. Fire Demons have more reliable turn efficiency, but you're also much more likely to have fewer than four of them around.

I suppose a "squad" of these for 600 (150 each) would compare reasonably to a squad of Fire Demons at 250.

To lessen how good these guys are with Commander Rogers I am thinking this tweak.

DEATH ARMY
This figure has the species of Undead in addition to the species on this card. After revealing an order marker on this card and taking a turn with this figure, you may take a turn with X other Death Army Trooper figures you control, where X = the number of revealed numbered order markers on this card. You may not take additional turns.

This way they are only getting two turns on OM2 and three on OM3 when all the OMs start on Rogers instead of three and four.

How does that change anything since Rogers moves the OM to their card?

It lowers the # of activations you’re getting with them per turn, because Rogers has to have the revealed OM on him to work.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Fairly close I think. They seem to either steam roll or quickly fall to pieces. Commander Rogers is awesome with them but if they stay at 150, you cannot really optimize the build as it comes out to 1010. Superman was okay but Cap forced him to take multiple shield throws and that softened him up a lot.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: These guys are super clunky. That free two move from Walking Dead can be often wasted depending on the map as they cannot move up at all as a two hexer. If you can get them into position, four attacks of 4 can be pretty solid, but high ground is really hard to obtain. The bonus is getting the auto wounds for Walking Dead but you still need skulls and cannot really risk taking LEAs.
