Finally got some tests in. Sorry, was trying to come up with something more insightful or helpful to say... but figured I just needed to get these finished at this point.

Trying a variant of a Krypto army test here since I could swap Beps in for Karolina and Gert super easy. Honestly probably a bit weaker than the old set-up just cause Gert is such a huge boost to Old Lace. A lot more interesting though.

Super pets have a lot of mobility and versatility so digging them as a faction.

Game 3
Map: Island Plane Crash (No E-Glyph)
Units: Six Beps in the Chamber: Beppo (160), Six-Gun Gorilla (250), Zombie (120), Superboy (330), Skrulls x3 (30)- 1000 total vs Marvel's Favorite Martian: Ms. Marvel (350), Red Tornado (300), Martian Manhunter (300), Atom (50)- 1000 total

Game 1: Martian Manhunter with 3 life, Red Tornado with 4 life


Trying him out with Superboy and Six-Gun Gorilla just cause I don't think I've used Six-Gun before and hey, weird joint Kryptonian / Simian synergy is interesting.

I think Beppo did alright here but honestly Six-Gun feels super overpriced for what he does and the game was lost before it began, like he gets two unboostable attacks of four (more or less) but only if he's getting an OM... big whoop. Super disappointing there.

Game wasn't really worth elaborating on so I switched to a better Gorilla and did more tests.

Game 4

Units: Secret Agent Beppo: Beppo (160), Gorilla-Man (160), Brand (170), Oracle (110), Quake (165), Crystal (225), Skrull Infiltrator x1 (10)- 1000 total vs Marvel's Favorite Martian: Ms. Marvel (350), Red Tornado (300), Martian Manhunter (300), Atom (50)- 1000 total

Now with a playable Gorilla and oh hey I also remembered Brand can do some interesting stuff with Beppo so that worked out anyway to build a more cohesive army.

Agent Beppo is a lot of fun, maybe not like... the highest power play move to recruit him but it gives a neat tool for a Brand team and with Gorilla-Man you have some back-up connectivity too.

In the end his team's luck didn't quite hold out but they had a decent chance at it.

Overall:

I like him, pesky switchy monkey pseudo bonding is fun. Honestly feels like he could drop 10 points or so, but on the other hand he has some counterdraft potential I didn't really test out. So probably fine as is.

Would people have a preference between leaving as-is or upping the mischief move to match his regular move? I like him generally at 160 and think the move addition would help even out the non-Super-Pets games as I definitely think that's where he shines most thus far.

Played with him a little bit in some games played with friends this weekend, 6 is an annoyingly large threat range for messing with foes, so I'm thinking he's good as-is with the 4 space range.

Beppo is considered to have the species of Simian in addition to what is on this card. After revealing an Order Marker on a Unique Hero you control that shares a class or species with Beppo and, before taking a turn with that figure, you may immediately move Beppo up to six spaces. If Beppo moves at least one space, you may choose a small or medium figure adjacent to Beppo. Switch Beppo and the chosen figure. Switched figures never take leaving engagement attacks.

Did you intend for the range on Super Monkey Mischief to be 4 spaces? The SP has it as 6 (Beppo's move value). Either way is cool with me, just wanted to double check given the above quote.
