General Flow:
R1: Diana protects Jon from Damage and takes 1 from Thing in the process.
R2: Turn 1, Sue whiffs and dies to Superman. Batman Nerve Punches Reed, who also whiffed, dying. Torch tries to hit Kal, but Diana’s bracelets cause Torch to take 3 wounds in the process.
R3: Diana kills Torch, as Bats and Jon bring down Thing.
General thoughts: Two whiffs early on completely shifted how this could have looked. Rerunning…

R1 T3: Moves Reed away from her with the Lasso, but can’t quite pull him out of Sue’s range.
R2 T2: Deflects for Kal.
R2 T3: Fails to hit Torch in 2 attacks.

General Flow:
R1: Diana protects Jon, though the kid takes 1 damage. Torch attempts to attack Jon, but a low roll coupled by Diana’s boost gets him killed. Diana rolls perfectly to block a 5 skull roll from Thing, then Lassos Sue into the water.
R2: Sue is killed at the start here. The Fan 4 tries, but a 1 at the last leadership roll seems to spell certain doom. Reed is killed in the final turn.
R3: Thing is Lasso’d low, and can’t survive.
General thoughts: Tight game realistically speaking. One switched die roll (which I did check) completely shifts things. Redoing the 1 Reed rolled shifts it to a win for the Fan 4, with minimal changing for Diana there. Definitely was running Wonder Woman slightly under cost here just to get the feel of it running with JL Batman. Kind of a nasty combo, but really the bracelet deflection is the real nice point here. That plus Superman’s rerolls makes ranged attacks a really dicey option.
Unit Summary:

R1 T3: Deflects for Jon again, killing Torch. She lassos Sue for 2 wounds into the water.
R2 T1: Kills Sue.
R3 T1: Lassos Thing down 1.

Who won and how many wounds did they have? Super team wins. 7 wounds on Superman, 0 on Diana, 3 on Batman and 1 Jon. Rerun leads to a Fan 4 win, with Reed with 4 wounds and Thing with 1.

General Flow:
R1: Super Fam moves up, with Lois getting one on Xavier.
R2: Things get tough, as Kal struggles with lockdown and Diana takes 2, but she does manage to deflect an attack back at Jean for 1. Diana takes 1 hit from LEA to allow Kal a deflect on Iceman for 1. Kal dodges Psionic Grip to move through and kill Xavier.
R3: Superman gets the belt from Hamilton, and teleports to shatter Iceman. Jean is taken out, but Diana falls this round as well.
R4 and R5: Cyclops and Angel eventually are downed.

General thoughts: Superboy rolled stuuuupid good on his defense. Literally never got hit. Was rolling perfectly even against special attacks. Still getting 5 wounds on Kal was strong here, and I think I feel good about limiting deflection to 1 and cutting the double attack on the Lasso.

R1 T2: Puts 1 on Xavier with Lasso.
R1 T3: Blocked from moving by Jean for the deflect boon on Kal.

Abilities: Tried to add to defense for others twice. Moved up once, tried to attack and failed once.

General Flow:
R1: Superman team can’t really keep up with the wound movement of the magical folk. Dropping the double on Diana’s Lasso became immediately apparent here, as I’d forgotten just how much that adds to the draw of using her.
R2: Diana tries to keep allies alive, but is eventually killed.
R3: Kal is knocked to 1 life remaining when Kenan finally takes out Wiccan. Kenan is killed by Final Ruin. Fate finishes off Superman.
General thoughts: Team magic just straight outplayed here. Kryptonian power can’t keep up with Magical defense, even with their more magical allies afoot. The lack of double made Diana feel less useful here, so I do think bringing that back is the way to go so she isn’t just a defense bot.
Unit Summary:
R1 T2: Tries to deflect for self on Fate, no wounds dealt.
R1 T3: Diana takes a passing swipe to add a defense to Kal, but Kal is still hit by Fates Fire.
R2 T2: Takes a passing swipe to help Kal block a Fire from Wiccan, helping him take only 1 wound.
R2 T3: Magik kills Diana.

Who won and how many wounds did they have? Mages win. Fate with 0 wounds, Zatara and Magik with 3 wounds each.

General Thoughts: She’s pretty close to the sweet spot. I think dialing down the potential output of her bracers was a good call. I do think the lasso either needs a double attack or away to bypass defensive powers to keep her feeling worth activating. Double feels ultimately cleaner I think, but could be sold on alternatives.

Didn't the special attack already have a double attack? I'd go with that over the negation to make this feel like more of a unique take compared to Wondy (I).

It did. I did a game of testing without it after one of the solid wins, but that probably was an unnecessary drop as I don't think the big wins had a huge amount to do with her having a double attack.

Maybe also not something you're feeling based on game experience, but just from a streamlining perspective, I'd consider losing the 3 space range on the wound with that change?

I think it's already got some other meaningful restrictions on it, so if it's getting a lowered power ceiling, it doesn't necessarily need the extra range limit at the end.

How much do we think it could affect point cost to change up here to something like:

Something Slightly More Generic in name?
Once per player turn, instead of attacking with a Unique Kryptonian Hero that is a Champion or Refugee, you may immediately move and attack with Wonder Woman. If that Hero was a Kryptonian, you may also attack with her Golden Lasso Special Attack before or after moving in this way.

And then dropping the natural double attack of the lasso? Can run a game with it if we think we could go this route, just thinking some might be feeling a bit too turned off by the nicheness of her.
