It's not that bad:

CLOAK OF DORMAMMU
At any time, you may reveal an X Order Marker on this card to activate Cloak of Dormmamu for the duration of the round. While Cloak of Dormmamu is active, The Hood cannot be targeted by non-adjacent figures and gains the Flying symbol. At the end of each of The Hood's turns, if Cloak of Dormammu is active, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 4 or less, The Hood's species is now Demon, his class is now Minion Devourer, and all of his special powers are negated for the entire game.

I thought Vessel too, but it seems a bit too weird. We could just go the power lost route, which might be easier.

Didn't want to say Criminal since that has lots of synergy, also. But he kind of was a thief at the beginning, so it might work.

Maybe "Devourer?" That's rather demonic. Do we know the real nature of whatever it is that's possessing him?

It's Dormammu, so yeah, big bad Dr. Strange villain.

Is it Dormammu himself possessing him, or is it just some sort of curse on the cloak? Is there an actual physical demon that takes control (like Ghost Rider, taken under the power of Zarathos) or is it just a demonic form?

I get that it's all evil and mysterious but come on man we need answers.

I don't know, he got the Cloak from a Nishanti, and then sometime later someone tells him it's Dormammu himself who has a hold over him, which freaks him out a bit. I don't know the true aspect of the possession.

Changing the species isn't necessary, and we're trying to find a different word than Possessed. That's what we've been discussing...
