The Holocron of Lando Calrissian
The Holocron of Lando Calrissian Small Expansion 2: Cloud City figure card: Rectangular Cards
Spoiler Alert!
The figure used for this unit is a Star Wars figure from the Rebel Storm set. Its model number and name are #52/Lando Calrissian. ______________________________________________________________ Character Bio - In 3 ABY, Cloud City was occupied by the Galactic Empire. Lando Calrissian had agreed to turn over a group of Rebels to the Empire, including Han Solo and Leia Organa, as part of bait for a trap for Jedi Padawan Luke Skywalker. However, the deal was altered by Darth Vader and Lando felt he was no longer able to tolerate it. Subsequently, he joined the Rebel Alliance and took part in numerous missions on its behalf. In particular, Lando particpated in the rescue of Han Solo, who had been frozen in carbonite. Lando later became a General in the Rebel Alliance military. ______________________________________________________________ -Rulings and Clarifications- N/A ______________________________________________________________ -Combinations and Synergies- Synergy Benefits Received: Classic: N/A HoSS: LOBOT: Effective Administration Lando Calrissian may benefit from Lobot's EFFECTIVE ADMINISTRATION special power. Lando Calrissian
Independent Human Unique Hero Gambler Pragmatic Medium 5 Life 4 Move 5 Range 6 Attack 3 Defense 3 Points 100 HERE GOES NOTHING When Lando Calrissian attacks a figure with a normal attack, before rolling attack dice, you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 10 or lower, roll one fewer attack die. If you roll an 11 or higher, add two automatic skulls to whatever is rolled. A CLEVER DECEPTION If an opponent's figure within 5 clear sight spaces of Lando Calrissian targets one or more friendly figures with a normal or special attack, you may immediately reveal an 'X' Order Marker on this card. If you do, the attacking player's turn immediately ends and targeted figures do not receive any wounds. You may also move one friendly targeted figure up to 4 spaces. Figures moved using A Clever Deception never take any leaving engagement attacks. A Clever Deception may only be used once per game. Re: The Holocron of Lando Calrissian
Lando! And with a risk-reward power, too. It's like he was made for me. Two automatic skulls is crazy; you'd be rolling the statistical equivalent of 7 attack at 6 range. Brutal. Clever Deception seems a bit narrow to me; worth using but not exactly flashy with the once-per-game restriction.
Definitely seems like a build-around unit. Glad that you put most of the synergy on Lobot, though, to keep Lando more flexible. Good feel. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: The Holocron of Lando Calrissian
Does Deception work if the opponent attacks Lando?

Re: The Holocron of Lando Calrissian
Lando can't be in clear sight of himself unless you have a mirror in play.

FYI
There are very few situations I would not roll the 20 sided die for Lando. Was there supposed to be tension for rolling the d20? Because as it stands right now, there is only a narrow window of situations where not rolling is the better option.

Re: The Holocron of Lando Calrissian
Yeah, I roll the d20 just about every time. The exception would be if I'm targeting a guy with only 2 def or 3 def and Lando has high ground. Then the odds for a wound are already in your favor. I generally just like to activate Lando to take a shot at someone like Vader. He gives you a 50/50 chance at hitting hard enough to bypass that 6 defense.
