Re: Holocron of 2-1B (Brainstorming Phase)
2-1B
Rebel Alliance Droid Unique Hero Medic Precise Medium 5 Life 3 Move 4 Range 1 Attack 0 Defense 3 Points 50 Rebel Field Medic Instead of attacking, you may choose an adjacent friendly figure that is not a Droid or Vehicle who follows the Rebel Alliance. Remove up to two wound markers from the chosen figure's Army Card. Medical Programming 2-1B may never attack an opponent's figure or make leaving engagement attacks. "They are too numerous to fight. What shall we do?" "Fight anyway." "You can never defeat another if you know not how to defeat yourself." my tradelist Last edited by mac122; September 10th, 2014 at 10:57 PM. |

Re: Holocron of 2-1B (Brainstorming Phase)
Okay here's my initial idea:
2-1B Rebel Alliance Droid Unique Hero Medical Precise Medium ? Life 3? Move 4 Range 1 Attack 0 Defense 3? Points 50? Rebellion Field Medic Instead of attacking, you may choose an adjacent friendly non-Droid Hero who follows the Rebel Alliance and you may remove one wound marker from the chosen figure's Army Card. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE Before using the Field Medic special power on this card, you may choose an Uncommon Medical Droid with the Field Medic Special Power within 3 clear sight spaces of 2-1B to be 2-1B's Medical Assistant for this turn. Place the chosen Medical Assistant adjacent to 2-1B. If 2-1B chooses a figure adjacent to his Medical Assistant for his Field Medic special power, you may remove up to 2 wounds from the chosen figure's Army Card. "They are too numerous to fight. What shall we do?" "Fight anyway." "You can never defeat another if you know not how to defeat yourself." my tradelist Last edited by Heroscaper Guy; March 2nd, 2014 at 06:22 PM. Re: Holocron of 2-1B (Brainstorming Phase)
I have not thought much about this character but now that he has a thread I'll start. I can see a second power on this card, but the theme of that power relates directly to a figure we have done in the inner sanctum so I'm not sure what the best way to move forward will be. I'll bring it up with the other Jedi.

Re: Holocron of 2-1B (Brainstorming Phase)
Class I would make Surgeon and Personality Precise.
I would reword and rename your power like so. FIELD MEDIC Instead of attacking, you may choose an adjacent friendly Hero and remove a wound marker from it's card. |

Re: Holocron of 2-1B (Brainstorming Phase)
Okay, I agree with you about personality and rewording but not necessarily the class. C3PO has Protocol and R2-D2 has Astromech for their classes. How is Medical any different? I just want to see your reasoning.

Re: Holocron of 2-1B (Brainstorming Phase)
Well, for one, he, it's a surgical droid not a medical droid. 3PO's primary function is in regard to protocols and language and R2's primary function is to be a mid-space mechanic, astromech. Whereas 2-1B's primary function is surgery.

Re: Holocron of 2-1B (Brainstorming Phase)
I could see making him Uncommon, since there were multiple of these droids.

That could be an interesting second power, HS2010. Particularly considering the other droid on the list, FX-7 is another medical droid. I'll have to think about that for a little bit though. Two reliable healed wounds per OM is powerful. "They are too numerous to fight. What shall we do?" "Fight anyway." Re: Holocron of 2-1B (Brainstorming Phase)
Personally, I don't think we meant one way or the other (Unique/Common/Uncommon Hero) when we put it on the list. The design process and the group consensus drive what the design ends up being.
