I think the main problem with doing these guys seriously is that they're not combatants. They're babies made of fat, and the only reason they're an actual threat is that the nurse hired to create them is just a bit reckless with her practices. So even 2/2 seems a little high when they're actual babies, you know?

Oh yeah, I actually meant for them to be 1/1s, I think the 2/2 was just a left over from whatever write-up I grabbed to start them up (it was pretty late when I did this )

Instead of attacking normally, an Ice Warrior may attack with Sonic Blaster Special Attack. Symbiotes roll 2 fewer defense die against this special attack. You may only use Sonic Blaster once per round.

CODE OF HONOR
When attacking with a normal attack with an Ice Warrior you control, subtract 1 from its Attack number for every other figure you control engaged with the defending figure.

ICE RESISTANCE
Slippery Ice and Heavy Snow only count as 1 space when moving. Add 1 die to this Ice Warrior's defense while on an ice or snow space.

SUPER STRENGTH

The Ice Warriors! They're Martians, they're warriors, they've got weird Lego hands.

The fun thing about the Ice Warriors is that while they started off as pretty generic "big stompy alien rawr rawr" baddies in their first few appearances in the 2nd Doctor's era, they came back later as good guys in the 3rd Doctor's era, and have kind of flip-flopped back and forth ever since. I always think it's cool to have alien races that aren't just all cartoony villains.

For the design itself, I made them Invaders, but that's not entirely accurate to like...50% of their total appearances. Still, I figured if we wanted to do "Ice Warriors as part of a greater peaceful galactic civilization" we could make an Alpha Centauri design or whatever to do that.

My only thought was going with glyphs for the explosives. I guess she had smart bombs as well. Been wanting to do an explosives expert design for awhile.

On her Fandom page they break down different versions of her explosives.

When I made Rocket II, I was thinking what we did there with his bombs would be helpful to me when I got around to making the GI Joe Firefly.

I was thinking about an explosives expert character recently too. (One of the Mercs from TF2) Might not be a C3G-worthy character, but could be a fun thing to mine ideas from.

Hunters of the Burning Stone (the comic with the futuristic version of the tribe) has been on my reading list for a long time. Seems like a neat concept.
