He’s basically a more specific version of Hawkeye III, so I’d say anything that fits his restrictions from a Hawkeye III army would work fine with him

Since the person you pick as your Charge has to be under your control at the time of picking it keeps most weird off the battlefield interactions from coming up (since if they start the game off the battlefield they’re not an option for him to pick from). Not really sure there’s much to really do there anyway.

He might be worth trying in a Brand army as they like similar stuff, though they can’t quite fully stack with each other.

The 11th Doctor probably really likes him too, since he already likes hanging around Androids. He can’t heal Arnie and bond with him on the same turn, but you can slap an OM on him and pick which one you want to do later. The Android healing was way nastier than I originally expected when I played him against Bats and Tickle at the con.

Doesn't sound like anything too concerning. A few pairing that seem somewhat thematic, a few that seem like he's just a bad guy bodyguard, but they can be re-programmed to protect scum too. I think I'll try to put together some army ideas and test it out then and see how it feels in practice. SP updated, if anyone wants to change their vote do speak up. Otherwise I'll assume everyone okay with this change. Thanks everyone for talking me through it, after putting together testing armies the first time I just wasn't loving how it was shaping up.

Just a quick update here. I did knock out the first two tests yesterday. Was hoping to get the 3rd done today but it didn't work out that way. No issues though after two tests, it plays fine and hasn't been an over powered concern at all. Actually thinking about moving the points down some but I want to wait to see the results of the last test before making that call. I recall I intentionally went on the high side for the Hunter version at 200, to be on the safe side should people figure out better ways to use him going forward. It's looking like a 20 point bump on top of that for the weapon upgrade was a little too much. The 2 die double skulls can be great when you get two skulls, but it's just as easy to get 2 non-skulls and completely miss.

- Give a brief preview. Puppet Master has acquired a Termiator to serve as his bodyguard. He'll happily give up his attack to keep it close by and shooting. Then he'll try to pull some strings of his own and a pair of dummies trying to rob him will be good targets. Meanwhile the Winter Solider was tasked with taking out the duo of dummies (Bebop is the first Mark) and he's decided Puppet Master would make for some good bait, so he tricks them into thinking Puppet Master has a lab full of goodies to steal.

Recap: R1, String Pull on Bebop results in no W on Rocksteady, T-800 does some damage with his shotgun though. Dysfunctional Duo shoot at Puppet Master, Reactive Mind Control is used to move Bebop more than 4 spaces away from Rocksteady. This disrupts their OM efficiency overall, but since it occurred at the end of R1 OM's were just spread out going forward. R2, Rocksteady nails the T-800, then the Winter Soldier would have dropped Bebop, but he's too dumb to fall. String Pull on Bebop results in 3Ws to Rocksteady. Rocksteady then takes out the T-800, and OM3 along with it. R3, Winter Soldier gets off a good shot, but Bebob blocks it (4 shields)! The Duo both shoot at Bucky, both score 1W. String Pull moves Rocksteady out of bonding range with Bebop, he then shots and breaks his gun. Bebop then gets String Pulled into also shooting at Rocksteady, also breaks his gun. OM2 on Rocksteady, who takes a LEA from Puppet Master to go after Bucky, Bucky fights back, no W's. Rock gets another shot at Bucky but fails, while Bebop tries to attack PM, but jumps into the water instead. R4, Rock & Bebop double team Bucky and take him out, along with OM1. PM avoids the same fate, the Duo are split up on opposite sides of a wall. PM scores a W on Bebop, but otherwise nothing happens for a while. Moving Rocksteady behind a wall to break up the bonding ended up backfiring as PM couldn't String Pull him either and try and make use of Clumsy Smash. R5, Bebop is Pulled into hitting Rocksteady, but he's Too Dumb to Fall. PM hits Bebop from HG, he's also Too Dumb to Fall. Bebop then tries to finish Rocksteady but only deals 1W. Bebop again tries to take out his partner but fails. R6, Bebop again hits Rock, he's once again Too Dumb to Fall, while Rock misses Bebop but no Clumsy Damage taken. Bebop finally gets past RMC and takes out PM.
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes, he was fine as is in this one. Rocksteady was able to throw enough dice to take him out rather quickly.
- What should be the unit's point value? Game ended up being closer than it might first look with both Rock & Bebop in a daze multiple times, but the dice just couldn't ever bring them down a 2nd time in the round. 220 might hold up under more testing.

Army Test 2
- Give a brief preview. Agent Brand can deal W's before attacking, so she'll team up with the Terminator well, giving up her attack so he can go. She can also make him an Agent, and then he'll get in a few turns after other Agents move up and don't attack. Wanted to see how longer ranged units did vs. the slow moving Terminator. Also Black Canary can drop some pretty tough units quickly when the dice are hot and Oracle can help overcome the Terminator's Resilience with her Attack Plan. So it should be a good match-up.

Who won and how many wounds did they have? Oracle w/full life & Red Arrow w/3Ws win.

Recap: R1, BC moves up. Moved up with Ant-Man/Fire Ant/T-800 via back up plan on OM1. Red Arrow scores a solid hit on the T-800. Then on OM2 I used Brand/T-800/Ant-Man/Fire Ant and realized that is what I should have done on OM1 as well. No attacks but a lot of units moving at one time. Red & Green Arrow both shot at the T-800 to no effect. Mocking Bird moves up, then Ant-Man engages Red Arrow and deals 1W. R2, BC moves up and Cries to no effect. Brand moves up so the T-800 can attack BC. Red Arrow att Ant-Man, who vanishes, GA scores 1W on the T-800. Fire Ants move up, Ant-Man engages GA but opts not to attack, T-800 backs him up and att. BC again, almost puts her down. BC responds by knocking the T-800's head right off! Mocking Bird vaults up to HG and tries to finish off BC, but she blocks. R3, BC moves and tries to Cry again, only manages to kill a Fire Ant, GA can't attack due to being engaged with Ant-Man. Mocking Bird once again fails to finish off BC. Lots of Arrows, GA deals 1W to Brand at one point, MB finally finishes off BC at the end of the round. R4, RA is mocked by MB, while GA hits Brand for 3Ws! Ant-Man engages with GA, MB att from HG to no effect (terrible att dice for MB this game). RA misses Brand, Ant-Man vanishes on GA. Agents suck it up some more. RA moves away from MB laughter, gets blocked. More sucking. R5, Agents win initiative for the first time this game and the last Fire Ants finally get close to the action, but otherwise the Suckfest continues. Sucking spreads from Agents to Archers as GA rolls a 20 to deny the 1 life Brand all def dice, only to miss completely. MB still can't hit GA, Ant-Man fails to Vanish and drops to RA, then GA rolls a 1! MB finally hits GA for 2Ws!!!!!! Archers can't hit now. R6, RA hits MB for 2W, while GA takes out Brand (who had OM1). RA blocked, GA rolls a 1 after being Mocked. MB misses on 5 dice, but blocks RA again, then rolls 1 skull on 5 dice. R7, RA scores a W, MB Mocks GA, who misses. MB takes out GA along with OM2! MB hits RA for 1W. RA retreats and gets blocked. R8, MB wins initiative, must chase after RA now, scores 1W. RA takes out MB, then takes out last Fire Ant for the win.
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes, he's not proving to be too big an issue.
- What should be the unit's point value? Another loss here suggests that 220 isn't too low for him. He almost took out the 190 point BC before she could punch him out, but missed on 2 of his 4 shots at her.

Army Test 3

• Give a brief preview. Skynet of the future has determined that Forge is the key to it's undoing, so it's sent back a Hunter in time to kill Forge. The resistance has learned of this plan and sent back it's own Terminator to keep him alive. Upon learning of his future, Forge has started preparing for his confrontation with the future Skynet and Red Skull has something he needs. This meeting is crashed by some GotG (along with their Earth guide Avengers liaison Wasp) looking to capture Red Skull. The Hunter uses the confusion to strike!
• This game is intended to test out the Mutant Sidekick combo with the T-800 using Forge as the Mutant that gives up his attack. Since he can heal himself or an Android each round, they should be a good team. I know Mr. Nobody loves testing out the Cosmic Cube, so Red Skull tags along and Forge can replicate it, so now the team essentially has 2 of them. Ice Man was tossed in to give Jubilee a second bonding option, plus he has that solid SA of 5 that could mess with OM's on top of what the two Cubes can do.

Recap: The Hunter Terminator whiffs on his first couple of defense rolls and takes a few quick wounds, then he starts tanking hits until the end of the round when Red Skull moves him to LG and slams him with a 5 skull roll for 3W's, that motivates the Protector Terminator to also take HG and finish him off with a normal attack. R2, Forge copied the Cosmic Cube and moved an OM from Gamora to Groot. Jubilee gets killed by Rocket after killing Wasp and hurting Groot (poor placement on my part, wasn't thinking about Jubilee's explosion SA and put one on either side of Rocket), OM on Groot still lets Rocket attack the Protector T-800 from HG and he rolls 5 skulls for 2W's. Red Skull takes the W off Forge and gives it to Rocket. Forge repairs the T-800. R3, After seeing Forge repair the T-800, Rocket and Gamora both attack Forge and score 2W. Forge copies the Cube, gives Rocket 1W from his card, T-800 attacks Gamora from HG. Rocket attacks Forge, Forge whiffs on defense and goes down, Rocket flies over and picks up the Replicator, shoots at the T-800 for 1W, Groot grabs the Neutralizer. OM2 on Forge. Rocket detonates two bombs to give Iceman 2W's, Gamora tries to knock the Cube out of Red Skulls hands but gets blocked. Red Skull gives Rocket one of the T-800's W's, tries to motivate the T-800 but only hurts himself while attacking Gamora, sending the Cube flying. R4, Iceman grabs the Cube, uses it to take out Rocket, Replicator and Cube both go flying. Gamora jumps on the Replicator, gives Red Skull 3W's, Groot drops the Neutralizer and grabs the Cube. T-800 attacks Gamora from HG. Gamora copies the Cube, gives the T-800 a W from her card, Replicator goes flying, gets greedy and tries to hit both the T-800 & Red Skull, neither take a hit, Groot attacks Red Skull, rolls 3 skulls on 3 dice and takes him out! T-800 shoots at Gamora and takes her out, then takes out Groot for the win.
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? Gets it's first win here in the last game, but I'm still leaning towards a points drop as I'd say the overall luck factor favored their team on top of this being a real strong team set up. The Hunter Terminator didn't inflict any W's before going down at the end of R1, then I botched my figure placement and got Wasp killed after only moving one time and that was it. The double Cosmic Cube + Android repairing Forge also removed 2W's from the Protector Terminator and Forge, then Red Skull, became the Focus for attacks as a result which gave him more time to shine. Still a good showing over all so maybe 210?
