Was suggested to specify not special attacks here to help clarity, and I figured if we do that we should just cut out some of the more extraneous uses of to also help dial him back a tad as he seems to be feeling a bit hot in the Toyo tests:

BIOELECTRIC MANIPULATION
Once per player turn, whenever defense dice are rolled or attack dice are rolled for a normal attack for an opponent’s figure within 5 clear sight spaces of Ion, you may choose up to two dice rolled. You may choose up to three dice instead, if that figure is an Android, Cyborg, or has the Electrically Charged special power. All chosen dice must be rerolled once.

I also might consider dropping the range on it and the Special attack to 4 to better align with some future planned auras for the faction, pending thoughts from people on those.

I think it might read more clearly like so:

Once per player turn, when combat dice are rolled for an opponent's figure within 5 clear sight spaces of Ion for either defense or a normal attack, you may choose up to two dice rolled. You may choose up to three dice instead, if that figure is an Android, Cyborg, or has the Electrically Charged special power. All chosen dice must be rerolled once.

I support this change.

You mentioned trying a Range decrease here but, from a cursory glance, I'm not seeing a Range decrease here.

Would like to officially update Ion, dropping the range on his SA and Special Power here from 5 to 4 (so SP is the goal, Card is the former). He was the strong end of his cost before synergy, and he felt even hotter there, so he's been tested with those ranges for the majority of the Harada and Stronghold tests.
