Re: The Book of Blue Lantern (Brother Warth) (breathing)
I'm fine with Pachyderm and Ascetic. We can roll with those for now, and change later if needed. I don't see it relating to synergy, nor him being best suited for Star-Lord armies, so we should be good regardless.
Everyone seems on board with the design, so I propose a vote to move this to Initial Playtesting. |

Re: The Book of Blue Lantern (Brother Warth) (Initial Playte
We did make Lagoon Boy and Abe Sapien Amphibians when I believe they're technically unknown, so Pachyderm makes sense here. No issues using Unknown, but it's generally best when that's avoided, especially since Soundwarp's right - regardless of what's officially known, 'alien elephant' is pretty damn obvious here.

Fair point, LO. yea
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Blue Lantern (Brother Warth) (Initial Playte
Yeah, I'd probably have gone Unknown myself here, but I'm fine with Pachyderm. Particularly since it's defunct - just a generalized term that used to be used for elephants, rhinos, and various other big burly critters.
Blue Lanterns other than Saint Walker are all referred to as "Brother" and "Sister" so I'm fine with Ascetic as a catch-all. Monk would also work, and is probably more accurate, but I do jive with reuses. My only quibble here is the theme for the last power. Why is his energy letting people take LEAs? Fine with the mechanic but want some clarification (and maybe a new name). Yea for testing though! JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Monk would also be a reuse - it's official and it's on Wong.

Monk would be cool.

Re: The Book of Blue Lantern (Brother Warth) (Initial Playte
If we already have Monk on the books, I'd go with Monk then - I don't think there's anything about the Blue Lantern philosophy that's about abstinence from worldly pleasures or what have you.

Re: The Book of Blue Lantern (Brother Warth) (Initial Playte
There’s a lot of ways he could make it so people don’t take LEAs. Distractions with the projections, a bright light...idk. Just sounded neat and serves a minor yet useful purpose. Gives his team hope to get out of the fight unscathed. To get out alive. Hope burns bright is part of the blue lantern oath.
Open to suggestions though. |
