- Theme Test - Inconclusive, seeing as I don’t know the character, but nothing felt wrong.

- Bonding Test - Tentative Pass - Being able to take a turn with the Hand Ninja or other Assassins through Ra’s after hitting someone like a Lantern with Ghost Ball feels a bit concerning, but it’s probably not a massive deal.

- Fun Test - Definite Pass - He’s a lot of fun - moving enemies around with Blackhole Teleportation, knocking out powers with Ghost Ball and then smacking them around with your Shadow Wraith and your friends is a great time, and he really felt like a scary shadow warrior/assassin.
- Fun Competitive Test - Tentative Pass - Again, see above - having Hal Jordan get slaughtered in one turn without you being able to react doesn’t sound like fun. Then again, if you’ve sent a Green Lantern out ahead of your main force while Noob’s still around and his friends could take advantage of an opening like that, you probably deserve what you get. (Plus, even in an Green Lantern Corps army, at least you have Kilowog’s inspiration to boost your Lanterns’ ringless defence enough to resist this a bit more, even though it still hurts like hell - basically, if you have Lanterns or dodgers, kill Noob the first chance you get.)
- Drafting Test - Pass - Probably only with Hand Ninja or Ra’s (vII), but yes, definitely.
- Usage Test - Pass - All powers felt useful.
- Strategy Test - Definite Pass - The interplay of his bonding synergies, Blackhole Teleportation, Ghost Ball and Shadow Summons is intensely strategic, and a joy to play with.

Round Two

The Ninja claim the initiative. Noob uses Blackhole Teleportation to move Donatello to low ground adjacent to him, before punching him from height, but his blow is blocked. He then sends out a Shadow Wraith to strike Raph from equal ground, but the blow misses. Three Hand Ninja move to height and shower Donnie with shurikens, inflicting three wounds and causing him to drop his Gauntlet.
Leo commands Don to strike Noob twice from low ground, inflicting a wound with each blow. Raph charges the Hand Ninja and knocks two out. Leo advances.
Noob moves Raph to low ground next to him with Blackhole Teleportation and punches him, inflicting a wound, and sends out a wraith to strike him, inflicting another wound. One Hand Ninja throws a shuriken at Don from height, but it bounces off his shell. Two advance, one charging Raph in the back to no avail, and one throwing a a shuriken at Raph from low ground, shockingly inflicting two wounds.

Round Three

The Turtles claim the initiative. Leo commands Raph and Don to strike X-23, twice each, inflicting three wounds, before Leo knocks out two Hand Ninja.
X-23 moves to higher ground and decapitates Raph with a single blow from her Adamantium Claws before healing. Two Hand Ninja advance - the one already in place throws a shuriken at Don from height, but fails to harm him. The two advancing ninja also throw shurikens at him, but he parries them with his staff.
Leo strikes X-23 twice, but, shockingly, both blows miss wildly.
X-23 stabs Leo for a wound before healing one. The three ninja lay into Don, but fail to harm him.
X-23 stabs Leo again, inflicting another wound before healing fully. The ninja lay into Don, but while two miss wildly, one is able to slit his throat.

Round Four

The Ninja Assassins claim the initiative. X-23 slashes at Leo, but he evades. Two Hand Ninja charge the last Turtle while one throws a shuriken at him from low ground, but their attacks are entirely ineffective and skillfully blocked.

X-23 flies into a Scent-Triggered Frenzy against Leo, but misses immediately and calms down. Two ninja engage Leo in melee and on equal ground while one runs up and throws a shuriken from range - he blocks each of their blows.

Overview: Noob Saibot was actually great in the early game there, despite having no real defensive powers to negate (technically he negated Lock and Strike, but that’s minor and easily worked around anyway) - he’s very fragile for his price, and his personal offensive potential isn’t amazing, but his map control, disruption and weakening potential is great. Teleport enemy hero to low ground next to him, separating them from their allies and surrounding them with your forces, either punch them or Ghost Ball them, hit them with the Shadow Wrait and then lay in with your Hand Ninja. Not sure I’d ever take him without Hand Ninja, though, who are just about necessary both to proect him and to exploit the openings he creates - is this an issue, or not? It’s not to me, but I don’t know the character. I am concerned about how juiced he could be in certain matchups, though - Blackhole Teleport, Ghost Ball, Shadow Wraith and Hand Ninja is pretty much a one turn death sentence to heroes like Spider-Man, Flash or, perhaps worst of all, a Green Lantern. This concerns me, quite a bit actually, but I’m not sure what to do about it without betraying the core of the unit.

Sub-Zero runs forwards, and Barnes moves to higher ground.
The Winter Soldier fires his sniper rifle at Sub-Zero with Marked for Death. The shot punctures Kuai Liang’s lung, inflicting two wounds.
J’onn burns a marker to take command. Sub-Zero blasts Bucky with ice, subtracting three from his defence, and charges him, striking from low ground and punching him, breaking a rib and inflicting two wounds. J’onn flies up and telepathically blasts Bucky, but Bucky resists.
The Winter Soldier draws a knife and stabs Sub-Zero, who throws up an Ice Clone Counter in response, blocking the blow and inflicting a wound on the Winter Soldier.

Round Two

The League of Shadows claims the initiative. The Winter Soldier knifes Sub-Zero - Sub-Zero throws up an ice clone, but Bucky just punches through it with his metal arm and strikes anyway, inflicting a wound.
Martian Manhunter takes command, burning a marker. Sub-Zero blasts James Buchanan Barnes with ice, subtracting four from his defence before sliding behind him and ripping his spine out. Fatality! Martian Manhunter flies up and telepathically attacks Ra’s inflicting three wounds.
Ra’s activates his masterstroke - Noob Saibot charges Martian Manhunter and blasts him with a Ghost Ball, eliminating his Intangibility before sending out a Shadow Wraith to strike him from height to no avail. Kitana charges J’onn, slashing him with her fan and shockingly inflicting two wounds while his back is turned, before running back, throwing another fan from high ground, to no avail this time, and dropping back to low ground. Bullseye runs to height and throws a knife at J’onn with Deadly Accuracy, inflicting two wounds. Ra’s charges J’onn and lays into him with his blade, inflicting a wound.
Guy flies forwards and blasts Noob, inflicting two wounds, before taking a wound to strike again, inflicting another wound.
Noob places Guy next to him with Black Hole teleportation before hitting him with a Ghost Ball, temporarily disabling his ring and allowing a Shadow Wraith to strike him from height, inflicting two wounds when he would only have inflicted one normally, leaving Guy beaten and bloodied and close to death.
Echo runs forwards, into the shadow, and mimics J’onn’s attack, before stabbing Noob in the gut, distracting him long enough to knock him out savagely.

Round Three

Ra’s claims the initiative thanks to Planning Ahead and lays into J’onn with his blade, inflicting a wound and leaving the Martian close to death.
Martian Manhunter burns a marker to take command. Echo charges Ra’s, delivering a deadly knee to his chin and knocking him out, allowing his continency plan to kick into action. J’onn flies to high ground and blasts Bullseye for a wound.
Kitana charges Echo and strikes her twice with her fans to no avail before rushing up and engaging Sub-Zero.
Guy flies to higher ground and blasts Kitana, inflicting three wounds, before burning some of his ring power to blast her again to no avail.
Bullseye throws a knife at Sub-Zero, but it ends up bouncing off an Ice Clone.
Sub-Zero blasts Kitana, subtracting one from her defence, before sliding under her, moving to lower ground and striking her in the back, ripping her spine out in one clean motion. Fatality!

Round Four

The Justice League claims the initiative, and Martian Manhunter burns his last marker to take command. Echo charges Bullseye, but misses wildly. J’onn telepathically attacks Bullseye, inflicting a wound.
Bullsye stabs Echo from high ground, inflicting a wound.
Guy flies up, blasts Bullseye to no avail and burns through some of his battery to strike again, but again fails to harm him.
Bullseye slits Echo’s throat.
Sub-Zero blasts Bullseye with ice, but misses, before charging him - Bullseye parries his blow.
Bullseye backs off, ceding the high ground and taking a blow from Kuai Liang in doing so, before throwing a baseball at Sub-Zero, who throws up an Ice Clone and blocks it.

Round Five

The League of Assassins claims the initiative. Bullseye throws a pointy rock at Sub-Zero, which breaks through the Ice Clone Kuai Liang throws up and strikes him in the eye, inflicting a wound.
Sub-Zero subtracts one from Bullseye’s defence with an ice blast and charges him, but Bullseye blocks.
Bullseye rushes back to high ground and stabs Sub-Zero in the back, taking him down.
Guy blasts Bullseye, inflicting a wound, before draining his ring to blast him again, to no avail.
Bullseye throws a knife at Guy - a guaranteed killshot. Guy throws up one last shield to deflect it, but doing so drains his ring dry.
J’onn knocks Bullseye out telepathically.

Justice League Victorious, Martian Manhunter 6 wounds, Guy Gardner 3 wounds/no battery markers.

Overview: Noob was really fun here, and really useful, but didn’t feel like too much. I really liked the clever ways in which I felt I was able to use him - taking out J’onn’s Intangibility to allow Bullseye and Kitana to have a go at him from range and height when Ra’s took his multi-turn, disabling Guy’s ring so that his Shadow Wraith could make him pay etcetera (and, notably, forcing Guy to low ground with Blackhole Teleportation so that his Shadow Wraith could claim height for that strike). He’s really fun, and can really screw with your opponent, but he has an absolute glass jaw for his price which makes me wonder whether he should be just a touch lower - 5 Life and 4 Defence with no defensive powers doesn’t hold up that long in Superscape. Whatever the case, though, I really love him - he’s incredibly distinct and a lot of fun to play. Good job!

One question, it looks like you used the Shadow Wraith during the Ra's super turn thing, but I don't believe you can do that given that that part of Ra's power has the 'no additional turns' language. Doesn't look like it really effected anything though.

Round 2 – Masahiro calls a command to go after Starfire. Noob pulls Starfire down, and goes for the attack, but Starfire only takes 1 wound here. Titans Go! heals Starfire, takes down a Ninja, and gets Noob down to one life left. Noob continues going after Starfire, rolling a whopping 5 skulls, dealing 4 wounds to her. A Ninja finishes her off. Noob pulls in Raven, and the negation helps a last Ninja finish her off.
Round 4 and 5 – Command against Nightwing. Nightwing races in, managing to finish off Noob. Nightwing and Jason take on the Ninjas, leading to an eventual Titans win.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Very interesting playing him against a team with multiple negation targets. Last game I played a bit more defensively when I should have gone aggressive with the extra defense die. Blackhole is the real danger here against foes, yanking them right out of pods. The Wraith is a nice fun touch, and can be a free unit to run ahead of him, or a one-two punch of sorts.
GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Blackhole teleport is awesome, with it there, waiting for an opponent to misplay so you can really trap their unit. He hit a tad above his weight class in the last game, thanks to the attempt with 5 defense die, but he also did in the a bit more luck-based game 3. He feels fun and really makes you wonder if best played as a defensive or offensive unit. I like him, but am still a tad uncertain on whether or not to up to 5 defense.

Even though Bulldozer fell way too early, Team 1 still looked like they were doing okay until Viper died. The Noob/Wraith/Viper combo was incredibly effective but fragile.

Note; I played Soul Self as being usable on squad figures, don’t remember if that’s accurate. Anyways, a solid showing here for Noob, but still not quite enough to pull his team together. The mystics were hurt by not getting their resurrection and Dazzler was basically wasted. Noob was useful against the Titans though. Combined with the Phantom Walking ninjas, his teleport meant Nightwing couldn’t really escape him for long, and Shadowball was pretty devastating when combined with the Wraith and some ninjas all attacking. Didn’t feel like he was anything horribly unbalanced though. The 5 defense just didn’t come into play that much, but hey it’ll never hurt him.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: All his powers got constant usage throughout my games. He’s an excellent assassin, being able to both teleport behind enemy lines and pull enemies out of their pods and onto low ground. It really feels like nobody can stay away from him without putting in massive effort. Obviously best when paired with some backup. However, his fragility keeps him balanced.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Thumbs up. I like how the one-two punch of Noob and the Wraith feels like a video game combo. He has enough tools that he has a few different ways of going about things, but all of them feel balanced and useful compared to one another.

I think it doesn't do a ton in more general matchups, but I do think it makes him more of a threat to folks he's likely hunting down with defensive powers. Longer he lives, better chance he has at cracking them.

I did one at 4 and one at 5, but the game with 5 was one of those games where he wasn’t really rolling hot on the defense anyways so it didn’t feel like much of a difference.
