Heroscape Scenario but AotP - Chaos in the Catacombs!

I'm going to have to pick Mr. Wiker here. Van Nessing and the Werewolf Lord seem life a combo that needs some practice before you can get it right.

Well met!

Gotta go with the Lord's army - but it's awfully D20 reliant. Although, with any kind of luck, it should win. And it should be more fun to play.

Should be able to play "Ring Around the Rosie" with the Water between Archers/Van Nessing and Jotun/Cultists. Jotun will have to be careful as he approaches - first dodging the arrows of the Archers, then having to deal with the Lycanthropic threat, and the occasional extra attack(s) from Van Nessing.

Predictions:

Round 1, FIGHT!
D1- Werewolf Lord activates Van Nessing through Moon Frenzy, and they both decide to hug a nearby jungle tree.
B1- Them boogers leak out of the start zone.
D2-Werewolf Lord charges toward one of the glyphs.


B2- Jotun stomps forth in an intimidating fashion, stepping onto a small hill.
D3- Aubriens march out of the start zone.
B3- Marro take shots at Werewolf Lord and some archers, they kill one archer.


Round 2, FIGHT!
B1- Boogers take two more shots from height at the werewolf and two shots at the archers, but sinus powered nasal weaponry is rather useless, only causing the targets to sneeze and sniffle a little.
D1-Werewolf Lord reveals Dagmar glyph ( init +8 ) and eats a booger for breakfast on a 3 skull to 0 shield combat roll.

"Nooo! He ate Jimmy!"

B2- A group of cultists angrily walk toward the Werewolf Lord.
D2- Aubriens shoot arrows through the crummy 0 defense rolls of two Marro Warriors.


B3- Two cultists take height on the wolf whilst another engages him on even ground. 0/4, 2/4, and 0/3 attack rolls yield no wounds on the crazy beast.
D3- Werewolf Lord finds brunch when he rolls one skull against a defense blanking cultist that was on height.

"Noooooooooo!!! Now, he ate Steve!!!"

Round 3, FIGHT!
D1- Archers take three shots at the cultists engaged to the werewolf. Wiker finally gets some defense as they block those attacks. Frenzy still hasn't activated.
B1- Cultists are feeling the momentum change, as their three attacks finally hit the wolf for 2 wounds. Alas, one cultist finds the pit trap glyph on the other side of the map.


D2-Through Moon Frenzy, Van Nessing moves toward the helpless NSC in the pit trap. Nessing shoots silver bolts at him, but his Iron Resolve keeps him alive. The werewolf fails to eat the cultist on height.
B2- Cultists return fire at the Werewolf Lord, inflicting one more wound!


D3- Lunch time! Werewolf Lord catches the cultist off guard again with two skulls versus a zero defense roll.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! NOT CHARLIE!!!!!!! I CAN'T WATCH THIS ANYMORE!!!!!!!!"

B3- One cultist assists the other out of the pit, and he assaults Van Nessing, but fails to do any damage. Meanwhile, A cultist on height rolls all skulls, baby! Werewolf Lord rolls one shield, and croaks.

"THAT was for Jimmy. Maybe I'll get that promotion now that Steve is gone."

Round 4, FIGHT!
D1- Van Nessing hacks and slashes the engaged cultist to pieces, and he goes on a divine mission and shoots silver bolts at another cultist. Iron Resolve blocks the one skull attack.

"Punk."

B1- One cultist engages Nessing, rolling all skulls again to inflict 2 wounds! A 3/4 attack sees to the death of an elf archer, as well.
D2-Archers retaliate, targeting cultists, and filling one of them with arrows.
B2- Van Nessing manages to block a 3 skull attack from a cultist on height, but the elf archer across the map couldn't recreate that feat against the 3 skull attack he faced. An archer dies.


D3- Two elven archers on height kill two cultists with a two and a three skull attack! Frenzy continues to fail.
B3- Jotun wakes up from his nap. He takes a couple of giant footsteps toward the elves on the hill.


Round 5, FIGHT!
B1- Jotun strolls across the water and engages the two elves. One elf slips out of Jotun's throwing hand, while the other is decapitated by his sword in the 5/8 attack roll.

"SMASH!"

D1-Two blank attack rolls and a 1/2 roll fail to deal damage to the jolly green giant.
B2- Big J throws an elf to lower ground, and since he survived the throw, J wrecks him with a 4/9 attack roll.
D2- Van Nessing shoots silver bolts at Jotun, but Jotun blocks. Van Nessing uses Divine Mission for the same action, and Jotun blocks again.
B3- Jotun's throwing arm fails once again, but he stomps on the elf with a 7/9 attack roll.

"Jotun not see little elf creature there, but Jotun not sorry."

D3- Three elves finally pierce Jotun's defense to inflict a wound. Frenzy finally activates! The elves rain arrows all over Jotun via frenzy and inflict a second wound.


Round 6, FIGHT!
B1- The giant fails throw once again, but his 2/8 attack roll is enough to kill the elf that rolled 1/3 shields.
D1- Deja Vu, as two silver bolt attacks with Divine Mission are blocked by Jotun. (Yeah, I'm too lazy to add the little accents or whatever)
B2- Big J must have pulled his arm earlier today, as throw fails again. A 3/8 attack kills the 1/3 defense elf.
D2- The last elf shoots Jotun in his throwing arm for a wound.


B3- Jotun attempts to throw Nessing onto low ground, but he still can't muster up the strength. He angrily smashes the nearby elf with a 4/8 attack roll.
D3- Nessing rolls 3/5 from his perch and hits the giant for one wound.

Staring contest. Blood coming out of Jotun's sword.

Round 7, FIGHT!
B1- Jotun's throwing arm misses Van Nessing, but his sword does not miss. Van Nessing dies to the 4/8 attack roll.


D1- Isamu sighs and moves toward the giant.
B2- The last booger clones in the water, bringing Jimmy back to life!
D2- Isamu nabs height, but his 2/4 attack fails to harm Jotun.


B3- Two boogers attempt to clone, and one succeeds.
D3- Isamu blanks at Jotun with 4 dice.

Round 8, FIGHT!
B1- Stupid throwing arm. Jotun rolls 3/8 at Isamu, but a 5 on the D20 means dead Isamu.

"Jotun SMASH puny red insect creature thingy!!!"

Wiker's remaining army: 3 life left on Jotun, 3 boogers, 2 cultists, and Guilty McCreech.
