Engage him to Supes... and Supes has to take a disengage or risk being turned into a Gorilla... but if a squad takes him down, your opponent gets a free hero. Your own hero getting to bottom life points? Have him kill Gorilla Man and become Gorilla Man himself! |

Missed the subtle change on AK-47
As written the curse can be triggered by your figure or an opponents. It would also be fun to take out your 1 life remaining Gorilla Man with your own squad figure to bring him back to full life. A lot of interesting strategies wrapped up in that power. Very cool |

I think that a power so simple shouldn't be generic. This is Supers, where theme is huge. Let's give the simple powers flavor like "Chew on this, Poozer!"

loving the Gorilla man card, especially that he's in consideration, cause I bought the figure just because it's looks darn cool, so I'm looking forward to see a card..

The figure is cool... but it might be a stretch to say the design is "in consideration", since really only one hero has expressed interest and he certainly doesn't fit a booster...
...but we can keep our fingers crossed! |

I've been enjoying this character lately (even if he is a Superboy/man knock off!)
GLADIATOR C3G Marvel Aliens & Androids Booster NAME = Gladiator SECRET IDENTITY = Kallark SPECIES = Strontian UNIQUENESS = Unique Hero CLASS = Praetor PERSONALITY = Loyal SIZE/HEIGHT = Medium 5 LIFE = 7 MOVE = 7 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 7 DEFENSE = 6 POINTS = 380 IMPERIAL GUARD COMMAND After revealing an Order Marker on this card or any Guardsman Army Card you control, you may instead take a turn with any Praetor or Guardsman you control. ATOMIC VISION SPECIAL ATTACK Range: 5. Attack: 1 + Special. When attacking with Atomic Vision Special Attack, you may subtract any number of spaces from Atomic Vision's range to add the same number of attack dice to Atomic Vision's attack. The player controlling the defending figure may not roll more defense dice than the number of skulls rolled with Atomic Vision Special Attack. I like the writeup! But we don't have any other units for him to have synergies with. Can't really say much without knowing the other stuff. I like the concept though.

Yeah... one big problem is that, while there is a Gladiator mini (very expensive), I don't think any of the other Imperial Guard minis exist yet. But I've really been enjoying the War of Kings storyline, the Thanos Imperative, and such.
However, we could make a Majestrix Lilandra, and possibly a Vulcan. |
