Yes he gets to roll. Affected figures are considered to have been attacked, just not targeted.

A funny observation about Pelloth: Like Estivara, his class is Arachnomancer, yet he has no powers pertaining to Spiders or other Arachnids of any kind. What to make of this, I do not know.

Since this book was bumped up, I figured I'd address this:

Spidey-Sense, Spider-Sense, and Vanish all referenced being attacked, not targeted (like Concealment 10/19 does). Therefore, those powers will trigger whenever Spider-Man, Venom or Isamu is affected by any type of attack, including Lolth's Wrath. This would be the same as Mimring's Fire Line or Rhogar's Dragon Breath, of if one of these figures were adjacent to the chosen figure of an explosion attack like DW9K's or Zelrig's.

While an inability to effect bigger figures hampers him a bit, he's a unique or high priced squad's worst nightmare. To be effective he NEEDS protection though, your opponent will happy lose a few units to take out the Wrath attack. Noticably effective against Minions or SoJ, any army using him as a focus still requires a backplan and a dedicated hero killer. As such, he's just a hero wounder.

First figure out if the figure is worth attacking. Only figures with Point values Greater than the Values Below are worthy targets based on Mathscape.

It is important to note, except when attacking Single life heroes or Squad figures Lolth's Wrath inflicts and average of 1.5 wounds per attack, which means that the Pts/life ratio can be lower.

Finally We can make the following conclusions:

If you only can attack with 1 Drow
Lolth's Wrath Pays off at > 0 defence for amount average amount of damage and Pays off at > 0 def For chance of inflicting 1 wound.
If you only can attack with 2 Drow
Lolth's Wrath Pays off at > 3 defence for amount average amount of damage and Pays off at > 1 def For chance of inflicting 1 wound.
If you can attack with 3 Drow
Lolth's Wrath Pays off at > 4 defence for amount average amount of damage and Pays off at > 4 def For chance of inflicting 1 wound.

So any figure with more than 4 defence, and costing above 18.75 pts/life based on inflicting 1.5 wounds per/attack is a beneficial or EQUAL exchange of points.

List of Figures with > or = to 4 defence and have a high Pts/Life ratio to warrant attack:

Squad Figures > or = 4 defence and are valued greater that 23.33 points:
Zettian, Death knights, Granite Guardians, Obsidian Guards, Quasatch, Shades, Minons, Sentinels, Tagawa Samurai, and Einar Imperium.

This doesn't even acknowledge that the Deepwyrm Drow have Poison Weapons!

Man, Lolth must not be very angry.

The Incredible Hulk
etc.

Yeah, I mean Marvel, except for perhaps Spiderman and Venom. I don't think Poison Weapons will do as much as instant wound(s) against Superheroes.
