Re: The Book of Reptile (Vote for On Deck)
Yep, I've usually got the cards done way ahead of time, just update once the wording is good. So I figure that's what the 48 hour voting period is for, to give people time to comment.

Glad to see Reptile is well on the way, sorry I didn't get a chance to any testing.

Re: The Book of Reptile (Vote for On Deck)
Could you add a blank line between the second bullet and the last line of the SA? Right now because of the spacing, it looks like that last line is part of the second bullet.

Re: The Book of Reptile (Vote for On Deck)
I can size down the text so the spacing works out a bit clearer. Adding a space after the last bullet feels like something we don't do?

Re: The Book of Reptile (Vote for On Deck)
Okay, so, here's where the stickler comes out. Historically, even for non-comic characters, we try to stick as close to the comic iteration as possible. The Street Fighter cast, for example, almost exclusively uses the variant covers to the Street Fighter comic book series.
Here, we have a render of the character. There is comic art of the character (SEE HERE), which is universally pretty ugly, because it's coming from old crappy tie-ins. I won't push to use that, because at some point, we have to err on the side of not putting out godawful cards. However, the MKWiki gallery (SEE HERE) looks to have some pretty decent quality concept art of him in the Mortal Kombat II and MK Trilogy sections. I don't think they look quite as good as the render, but I think, since they're drawn rather than a CGI model, they fit the C3G aesthetic better and make for a good compromise point. The comic art doesn't look/feel out of place, at least to me.

Re: The Book of Reptile (Vote for On Deck)
Post whatever options fit the requirements. I had to put the render on a background from the game to get the comic like look, so if you find something better I'll take a look.

Re: The Book of Reptile (Vote for On Deck)
I was actually going to mention the 'comic' art looking more like a computer generated image but didn't as it seemed like I was the only one who thought it looked off. Since these guys do have comic books, and that is how they gained a place in C3G, I'd prefer to not use video game images for MK whenever possible. I understand if we can't find any good options though, some characters just don't get a lot of great images of themselves in a given comic book run for whatever reason. Personally that is where I think fan art is okay to use, at least it is still actual pencil drawn artwork, even if it wasn't done by a professional comic book artist.
