Re: The Book of Wolverine (Avengers) (Vote 4 On Deck)
yea
His slashy power was so close to Venom's I went and checked to see if there actually was a difference since they both have super specific names. Wolvie can hit Gundams and Transformers and other big things and I guess he can swap targets from the way I read it. So the proportional cantankerousness of a wolverine really beats out magic alien god goop all around. Re: The Book of Wolverine (James Howlett) (Avengers)
Would people be on board with changing this to a 20-sided die roll?

With this change it allows another in-faction usage for Vision's burn a die to add +2 to a d20 roll, and would give Beast another reason to go the d20 boost route. @Arch-vile @Lord Pyre @LordVenoc @MrNobody @Ronin @Soundwarp SG-1 @tcglkn |

Re: The Book of Wolverine (James Howlett) (Avengers)
I will note that Vision and Wolverine basically have no relationship with each other - I don’t believe they’ve ever been on any sort of team together. But no problem with it on the face of things.

Re: The Book of Wolverine (James Howlett) (Avengers)
You can put an Avenger marker on anyone, so this isn't to imply Wolverine and Vision are the perfect pair or anything, it's to get more in-faction use out of the powers so random villain A or character B aren't a better pairing than the Avengers themselves, as much as possible. Hence why it wasn't the leading factor in this proposal, rather a side benefit to the more important reigning him in and giving Beast enough reason to make a d20 boost a main aspect of his card.

Re: The Book of Wolverine (James Howlett) (Avengers)
I’m cool with that, I like giving more factional synergy. I might do a 13 or higher but I’ll trust whatever number you think is best.

Re: The Book of Wolverine (James Howlett) (Avengers)
I do hope that as we continue to build Avengers stuff here, we can start working in some more soft thematic synergies to get characters playing with their actual allies. If there’s an Avengers Mockingbird, she should play well with Hawkeye, not Thor. Really dig how that’s going with Viz and Wanda.
Have no problem with the reigning in or Beast points, that’s why I didn’t mention them. |
