Should be ready for art here. WWII-era gas masks aren't exactly hard to find pictures for.

One question though: should there be a bio for this glyph? All of the other glyphs have short bios, except for the Utility Glyphs. Is that intentional or just an oversight?

I'd call that oversight - all Glyphs should have bios, even if they're brief.

Bat-Grapple: With it's towering skyscrapers, the modern city isn't always friendly to a vigilante on the prowl. That's why mobility-conscious crime fighters pack a Bat-Grapple, letting them scale buildings with the press of a button.

Bat Shuriken: A man can be destroyed, but a symbol is indestructible... even so, bat-shaped projectiles make for an unorthodox weapon of choice. Only the most devoted have managed to successfully utilize iconography on the offensive.

First Aid Kit: Some people can withstand bullets. Some people can regrow limbs. Mere mortals aren't so lucky - making a first aid kit vital for survival in a superheroic world.

Infrared Goggles: You can't hit what you can't see - but there's always a way to solve that problem. Whether in dark alleys or deep jungle, a set of infrared goggles helps even the odds.

Kryptonite Gauntlets: Perhaps it's paranoia. Maybe it's unnecessary. But when the mighty fall to the dark side, it's best to be prepared - and even Superman has his weaknesses.

Police Scanner: Knowledge is power. When forced to operate outside the law, knowledge can be hard to come by. A vigilante can always strike first by getting it directly from the source - the local law enforcement personnel!

Smoke Pellets: The use of smoke to a sow confusion or make a quick escape dates back centuries, and with the help of modern science, it's now easier than ever. The crooks will never see it coming...

[Redacted]: Whether it's to start a fight or finish it, throwing a [Redacted] can quickly incapacitate an enemy. They'll escape sooner or later, but that brief moment is all that's needed to get the upper hand.
