"Spear today, gone tomorrow."
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Proxima Midnight - Brainstorming Phase
Powered through the Black Order mini-series. Really weird book, the tone was oddly...casual is the word I'd use, I guess? Just didn't expect the sitcom Friends to be something that came to mind when reading a Black Order book. Corvus is a total Ross, btw.
Anyways, the vibe I'm getting from both that book and seeing her in Infinity, etc is that her defining trait is being a warrior woman? I think Sadistic works fine, but I also think it works for literally all of them, so it might be nice to distinguish a bit. Relentless or Disciplined maybe? |

Re: The Book of Proxima Midnight - Brainstorming Phase
Yeah, the tone of that book was weird. I think it's an interesting idea to try and contrast their inner lives against the zany intergalactic evil machinations, but it didn't end up feeling cohesive.
I like that train of thought for the personality. |

Re: The Book of Proxima Midnight - Brainstorming Phase
I have no idea what you're talking about. Guessing it's a Friends reference? Never actually seen that show. Only U.S. sitcom I've ever actually watched (unless you count The Simpsons, which is a little different) is Frasier, which is one of my favourite shows of all time.

Re: The Book of Proxima Midnight - Brainstorming Phase
Frasier is pretty funny. Such a different take on the character than the one that was in Cheers, but it works so well on it's own. Both shows did the whole 'wife that's never seen but often talked about' gag though.

Re: The Book of Proxima Midnight - Brainstorming Phase
The Cheers Thanksgiving episode when Vera makes her 'appearance' is one of my all time favorite sitcom episodes. Saw it again maybe a year ago and it still held up pretty well.
Agreed. Loving all your recent bios. |

I honestly rate Niles Crane as one of the best comedic characters out there - and, as someone who is a sibling, the relationship between Frasier and Niles is so well constructed. Never actually saw Cheers either - never really appealed. |

Man I thought I had seen every Cheers episode, but I never even heard about that Thanksgiving one before.
