Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Colossus)
He's a solid, but unspectacular, figure. The 6 def/6 life/+ auto-shield vs. normal attack means he can tank some hits vs. a lot of units. Just need to avoid those units with strong SA's. The one melee attack of 6 is good when paired with something else, even if it's just Jubilee, but without a second attack option it's hard to feed him turns. Unfortunately Lockheed's bonding is based on Lockheed getting the OM's when Colossus it the safer place to put them. Overall though, I think he could come down in price. 3 stars for me.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Deadpool)
He's solid. It's a shame that Wisecrack takes up so much text and is one of my most forgotten powers, but Healing Factor X is one of the top powers in the game and double attack is great to build around. The 5 point ending makes it a tad tougher, but there are plenty of options for that. He's basically great in any army that offers turn efficiency and doesn't want the "X" for something else. That last part is a tad tough due to the Professor X connection.
A-/4 C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Colossus)
Professor X made a valiant effort.
Deadpool: I usually don't actually mind giving up the X to Xavier, just cause I've found that the additional turns often more than make up for the loss of the end-of-round heal. But the HFX guys definitely shine the most when they can shark it up with Wild Child. I'm apparently a weirdo in that I don't find Wisecrack that hard to remember (at least not any harder than any similar ability) and it's always pretty useful. Deadpool can usually tank an attack o two meant for someone else, and that can be insanely good in a Maximum Carnage build, pun intended. Chucky makes a good pairing for Wade there, or in most places really. |

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Deadpool)
Agree with Bats here. Double Attack & Healing is a real solid power set you can fit into lots of different armies, but I also forget about Wisecrack all the time. 4 Stars.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Deadpool)
To me, Deadpool’s biggest problem is that he’s kind of boring for a character who is anything but boring. Otherwise, he’s a solid design as mentioned. He’s got a lot of synergy groups: Mutants, Merc, Insane, Healing Factor so he can find his way into many armies. Definitely a solid competition for Wolverine at a similar point cost with similar stats & powers.

Healing Factor X
Honestly Red Skull Hasbro (or Hush) and a bunch of X Factor healers is a great army and you should try it sometime.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Deadpool)
Super solid piece. As much as Wolverine's card is perfect, Deadpool I find a tad more useful because of his range and better mobility. Wisecrack is great too, to mess up ranged armies, as long as you're careful with his positioning to not attract ALL the fire. It's a "must" ability, so those who always forget it are giving themselves a bonus.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Nightcrawler I)
Fast and hard to hit, but doesn't hit hard back. He's fine, just outclassed by other Mutant options. 2/C-

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Nightcrawler I)
Yeah, he gets pretty forgotten about between the other Nightcrawlers and 140 cost mutants. I'm taking Spider-Girl over this Nightcrawler 99% of the time, and the other 1% I'm taking...I dunno, Harpoon I guess.
