From the Sortable Index, I made a list of the powers/figures and utility glyphs that mention normal move.
Tried to organize it in a digestible way.
Not sure how often a group of 6 of these figures will surround someone holding the pellets. Each Pellet Glyph only works once per glyph, not sure how often it'd be causing craziness after the first use.
Powers with (?) are where things get questionable, since the goal would be to have this power only be used to move figures 3 spaces in a method that is appropriate to the character.

Possibly:
EQUIPMENT GLYPH
When this figure or any figure adjacent to this figure is targeted for a normal attack by an opponent's figure, you may destroy this glyph. If you do, this figure and all friendly figures adjacent to this figure have no visible hit zones for the remainder of the attacking figure's turn and may immediately move normally once up to 3 spaces each. During this move, they will not take any leaving engagement attacks, and may not inflict wounds or attack other figures.


"normally once" allows only 1 use of a power like WEB SWING.
WATER LEAP through MOTHER NATURE allow extra moves following normal movement. Covered by "up to 3 spaces each," and reduces the move number on powers like ICE SLIDE 4.
"may not inflict wounds or attack other figures" covers SANDSTORM to HUMAN ROCKET.

CHARGING HEADBUTT would never need be considered anyway.

HERCULEAN TACKLE might still work and be fun.

And Vertigo would be a counter-draft to opponents with this glyph.

Don't know what I was thinking by saying HERCULEAN TACKLE might work. That would be against the intention of the power of the Glyph.

Thanks for compiling that list!

I really like having all the different leaps, tunneling, swings, and other move stuff being included. Feels appropriate. It was the move powers that result in inflicting wounds that I was concerned about, the smoke pellets are already considered one of the top utility glyphs to take. But your idea of adding in a line to prevent wounding powers is something that could work for me.

I'm pretty much with SW on this one. Allowing everybody to do normal movement off of it opens up a lot of confusion, and I don't even think the Batfam is the group in that list that gets the most benefit. Seems a heck of a lot easier to just add an "or you can Bat-Grapple" bit onto this card and Shadow Strike.

I'm coming around to that way of thinking. Especially if it's desired here as well as on Shadow Strike.

Apparently not in a way that works, per SW? I more meant if this was wanting to work with Bat Grapple also, then going the way SW suggested probably made sense. This one is going to be a lot more open to different issues with other move things than Shadow Strike would.

Right now Shadow Strike is updated to being an error message basically, so yeah if the idea is you want them to work with Bat-Grapple I'd just say that. Saying that a move of 3 outside of a dude's turn is somehow their 'normal move' just doesn't really work. Heroscape's wording is already a giant mess, that's just adding to the confusion in a bad way IMO.

Suggested wording:

"may move up to 3 spaces, move with the Bat-Grapple special power if possible, or move with Glyph of Utility: Bat-Grapple if they are equipped with it"

That's the cleanest thing we could suss out on the Discord (we being Nobody, Warpy, and I).

Shadow Strike 15 was updated to include the word "normally" to allow Batman (II) the option of either moving normally, or by using an equipped Glyph of Utility, such as the Bat-Grapple, and as it turns out, Bat-Rope.
Shadow Strike only affects Batman (II), and his only other movement options are what he's equipped with, so I don't see an issue with Batman (II) any longer, unless adding "normally" in general causes an issue for the game as a whole.

As of right now, Smoke Pellets allows the figure holding the pellets and up to 6 other figures with phantom walk, intangibility, flying and similar powers to use them in conjunction with the Pellets.

This would just allow the option of other figures having similar maneuverability for those 3 spaces in that moment.

Basically the way Soundwarp put it to me was that if it's a restricted 3 space movement, it by definition is not "normal" movement and saying it is just creates an "error" message, because that's not how normal movement works in the game. (Hopefully someone corrects me if I translated that wrong).

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
