Units: Fantastic Four (Substitute Human Torch for Future Foundation Spider-Man) vs Toyhandle Illuminati (Avengers Beast, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther)

Spoiler Alert!

R1T1 F4 wins initiative. Reed rolls 2, moves in. Iron Man moves in.
R1T2 Reed rolls 1, stays put. Beast moves up. We swap d20s.
R1T3 Reed rolls a 3, moves closer to IW. Doctor Strange come in.

R2T1 F4 loses initiative by rolling a 2. Iron Man comes in and shoots Reed for 3.
R2T2 Reed rolls a... 4. Thing moves in. Reed hides behind the treeline. BP moves closer to the bushes and lampposts. Iron Man skirts out of Thing's range.
R2T3 Reed rolls a 6. IW moves up. Reed moves up one level of elevation. Iron Man bases IW. Hits her for one wound.

R3T1 F4 wins initiative with a 9 after Dr. Strange rerolled. Puts the wound on Iron Man. Thing bases Iron Man and destroys him with three wounds. Peter moves in and Reed gets closer to the pod. BP takes elevation near the center of the map and shoots at Reed. No wounds.
R3T2 Reed rolls 13. The curse might be broken. Peter bases BP. Hits BP with a lamppost. Would have hit for three wounds but BP rolls a blank so BP takes one. Moves Peter back. Sue skirts the tree. Reed shoots BP, no wounds. Beast bases Peter, attacks him for no wounds.
R3T3 Reed rolls 1. Shoots BP. No wounds. Dr Strange bases sue, tries to melee her. No wounds. Attacks Sue for 3.

R4T1 Illuminati wins initiative. Strange shifts Reed next to BP, no auto wound off of BP. Shifts Peter next to BP, auto wounds him. Beast bases Sue, hits for her one. Thing bases Beast and BP. No auto wounds. Thing takes a ten attack die shot at BP, deals one. Tries again, rolls 9 skulls. BP rolls a blank, takes a wound. Reed punches BP, no wounds.
R4T2 BP attacks Reed, no wounds. Strange destroys Sue. Reed rolls 9, Thing hits BP for one wound, destroying him. Reed takes elevation and punches Beast. No wounds.
R4T3 Beast punches Reed. No wounds. Peter moves Reed behind him. Reed rolls a 1. He sits where he is.

R5T1 F4 wins initiative. Thing takes elevation. Punches Beast, no wounds. Peter shoots Beast, no wounds. Reed shoots Beast, no wounds. Dr. Strange wins every shift roll, shoots Reed, destryoing him.
R5T2 Beast tries to hit Thing. Thing rolls four shields, deals one wound to Beast.
R5T3 Strange shoots Thing for one.

R6T1 F4 wins initiative. Thing punches Beast, one wound. Beast attacks Thing, no wounds.
R6T2 Peter punches Beast, no wounds. Strange shoots Thing, no wounds.
R6T3 Thing punches Beast. One wound. Strange shoots Thing for one.

R7T1 Illuminati wins initiative. Dr. Strange moves Thing away from bushes. Shoots Thing for no wounds. Thing moves back and destroys Beast.
R7T2 Strange shoots Thing for no wounds. Thing skirts aroumd.
R7T3 Strange shoots Thing for one. Thing moves closer and hits Strange with a lamppost for one.

R8T1 F4 wins initiative. Thing punches Strange for one. Strange punches Thing for one.
R8T2 Thing punches Strange for one. Strange punches Thing. No wounds.
R8T3 Thing punches Strange. One wound. Strange punches Thing, Thing rolls four shields, Strange takes one.

R91T1 Thing punches Strange, for one, destroying him. Nobody had ANY fun this game. lol

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): F4. Spider-Man and Thing. Thing had three wounds. I made the mistake of clearing Peter's card too early, but Spidey either had zero or one.

Units: Onslaught, Mark V Sentinel (x4) for 1600 points vs Blue Lantern (Barry Allen), Green Lantern (Uncommon) x2, Green Lantern (Kilowog), Guardian of the Universe (250), Green Lantern (John Stewart) for 1600

Spoiler Alert!

R1T1 Onslaught wins initiative. Two sentinels move in. Kilowog uses Leadership to eat a battery.
R1T2 The other Sentinels move in. John moves forward to the other side of the tree.
R1T3 Onslaught moves in. One of the uncommon Lanterns places herself between brush and a street light.

R2T1 Onslaught wins initiative. Sentinel skirts around the side to shoot the uncommon Lantern. One wound. Another Sentinel flies up. Kilowog dances along the tree line.
R2T2 Sentinel shoots Uncommon Lantern for no wounds. John Stewart moves adjacent to the bush the uncommon Lantern was adjacent to, but not adjacent to her, shooting the Sentinel with height advantage. Deals four wounds, destroys Sentinel.
R2T3 Another Sentinel puts a gray database marker on John Stewart. Shoots John Stewart, no wounds. Another Sentinel gets closer to John and the uncommon Lantern. Uncommon Lantern shoots Sentinel for no wounds. Guardian takes the free turn to move in.

R3T1 Two Sentinels attack John Stewart. One wound. John Stewart strikes back for one.
R3T2 Another Sentinel attacks the other uncommon Lantern for one. One of the previous two Sentinels shoots John. No wounds. John isn't playing. Smacks that Sentinel back. Destroys it.R3T3 A Sentinel shoots the second uncommon Lantern who was attacked last turn. No wounds. A Sentinel attacks John. No wounds. John moves in to hit that Sentinel with a lamppost. Deals exactly enough damage to destroy it. The Guardian moves in.

R4T1 Lanterns win initiative. John Stewart shoots Onslaught, who ignores two wounds by revealing his X, but takes one. Onslaught skillfully puts the peanut base on the two spaces between a street light and Jon Stewart, for six skulls. John eats a marker to avoid the attack and give a wound to Onslaught.
R4T2 John flees to elevation to shoot Onslaught with advantage for four wounds. Onslaught tosses Kilowog once, fails the second time, one wound on Kilowog. Onslaught shoots Kilowog for four wounds, destroying him.
R4T3 John shoots Onslaught, no wounds. Ganthet shoots Onslaught for four. Onslaught throws the uncommon Lantern, dealing one wound. He takes elevation and shoots John Stewart, for one wound.

R5T1 Onslaught wins initiative. Onslaught tosses John, destroying him. Onslaught moves and shoots uncommon Lantern for three wounds. Flash attempts to move and shoot Onslaught, no wounds.
R5T2 Onslaught tries and fails to throw Ganthet twice. Onslaught tries to smack Ganthet with the streetlight, dealing one wound. Ganthet tries to hit back, no wounds.
R5T3 Onslaught tries and fail to throw Ganthet twice, attacks for no wounds. Ganthet smacks back for one.

R6T1 Onslaught wins initiative, tries to throw Ganthet, wounds him. Does it again, Ganthet is destroyed. Onslaught bases Flash, tries to punch him, deals one wound. Flash hits back for one wound, then flees to the brush, ruin, and lamp post on the other side of the map.
R6T2 Onslaught comes back to hit Flash with the lamp post. No wounds. Flash hits Onslaught for one.
R6T3 Onslaught lets the last remaining Sentinel take a turn, Sentinel punches uncommon Lantern for one wound. Flash bases Onslaught. Punches for no wounds.

R7T1 Flash attacks Onslaught for two wounds, Onslaught puts them back on to Flash. Both have one wound remaining! Tense game. Sentinel attacks and destroys the uncommon Lantern.
R7T2 Stripped of the GL boon, Flash comes in to punch Onslaught. No wounds. Onslaught hits back for no wounds.
R7T3 Flash punches Onslaught, no wounds. Sentinel moves towards the center.

R8T1 Lantern wins initiative. Flash punches Onslaught. No wounds. Onslaught tries and fails to throw Flash twice. Tries to punch Flash. No wounds.
R8T2 Flash punches Onslaught. No skulls. Onslaught does the same.
R8T3 Barry punches Onslaught. No wounds. Onslaught punches for zero.

R9T1 Flash punches Onslaught for three. Onslaught redirects two of them. Both are destroyed. Only Sentinel remains.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Onslaught and Sentinels. One Sentinel with no wounds remained.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: The street light seems balanced enough. Cost and draftability aren't relevant here.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: It doesn't seem too too impactful when the games aren't huge. I like the automatic skull. Definitely felt like the object mechanics I've grown to love in some other games. I also liked the T-Sphere style ability to roll unblockable dice against everybody adjacent, but it didn't come up and it didn't seem worth trying to do when the street light has 4 defense. I would have liked to maybe see it have 3. Overall I enjoyed it, though I think some powers on the card are way more relevant than others. It's also worth noting that one of our games was just a miserable slogfest, and not only did it not feel like the street light contributed to that, I actually think it would have been worse were they not there as they made zoning more interesting.

@tben tested this with me and I believe he intends to add a small writeup as mentioned in the ally/fan rewards thread within the next day or so.

Why? These are going to have almost no impact on most games like most DOs should.

Because I think we should see the evidence of that. There have been no tests with throwers.

It’s easy to just not be standing next to these which is the only time a thrower would matter here.

It's removed from the game after you move it, so it's not possible to throw it into a crowd. So basically the only utility you get is if you throw someone into it and then destroy it. I guess you could do that with Hulk (Avengers). At that point it becomes a slightly less effective Evergreen Tree, since those do auto wounds instead of unblockables.

Do we want to change the unblockable here to an auto wound so that the electric jolt is as powerful as a falling tree?
