Unit Summary: Fun army in theory, the Omnidroids just didn’t bring the pain efficiently enough or stand up defensively well enough to survive above average leadership rolls from Mister Fantastic. They did really weaken Flame On 4 by tying down Human Torch and made it easy to get to Invisible Woman, but once Thing started Clobbering, that wasn’t nearly enough.

• CYBERCLAW: Very useful for locking down parts of the Fan Four to try to disrupt them.

Gundam finishes Hawkwoman with his special as she rolls poorly on defense as well. Invisible Woman advances and fails an attack from height on Black Canary.

Unit Summary: A lot of back and forth here, but Gundam’s offense and Robot’s turn efficiency drove the win. The Omidroid did fine, but nothing special other than a lucky four wound hit on Wonder Woman.

Seems like they’re doing alright they just need better leadership options which is coming next.

For sure. The rolls weren't really worth spamming if it meant giving up better attack options due to how high they were. I think they're probably coming in a bit weak, but if you want them to be mostly only draftable with Syndrome, that might be OK.

Pre-Game Thoughts/Preview : The Rogues got an Omnidroid (and a very upset bird) to tie down Deathstroke and his gang. Plunder and Blacksmith will be most of the damage for their team, with Magenta planning to throw people adjacent to Omnidroid, and Captain Cold gunning for more OM efficiency.

ROLLING DEVASTATION : Used 4 times, rolled damage 12 times, 2 wounds to Deathstroke, 1 wound to Cinder, 2 wounds to Rose
CYBERCLAW : Super solid power, most figures hate getting stuck by this.
ADAPTIVE RESISTANCE : Helped a lot with late game survivability this game.

Plunder chooses Deathstroke for Bounty Hunter.

ROUND 1 : Mercenary initiative.
Early movement from both sides. Cinder gets a wound onto Magenta on OM 2. Plunder leaps forward, and gets 2 wounds onto Rose. Deathstroke activates Rose, who wounds Plunder. The round ends with Omnidroid rolling into the center of the map.

ROUND 2 : Rogue initiative.
Omnodroid rolls into the backline, tying down Deathstroke, Grant, and Cinder, while dealing 1 wound to Deathstroke. Cinder tries Searing Touch on Omnidroid but fails. Grant makes 2 buffed attacks on Omnidroid, dealing 2 wounds to the robot and 1 wound to himself. Plunder shoots up Deathstroke for 2 wounds. Using Head Games, Deathstroke takes control of Omnidroid so that his team can escape Cyberclaw. Plunder dies to Grant, and Magenta dies to Deathstroke.

ROUND 3 : Mercenary initiative.
The round starts with Grant killing Captain Cold, and Deathstroke heavily wounding Blacksmith. Omnidroid rolls in, dealing 1 wound to Cinder. Grant then guns down Blacksmith, leaving just Omnidroid and Venom Pigeon.

ROUND 4 : Mercenary initiative.
With Machiavellian Mentor the Mercs let loose on Omnidroid, but Adaptive Resistance keeps him alive. The Mercs are clumped up so Omnidroid is able to use Rolling Devastation on all of them twice, wounding Deathstroke and killing Rose. Grant gets into melee and finally slays the Omnidroid.

ROUND 5 : Rogue initiative.
Venom Pigeon fails to wound Deathstroke with its special attack. Grant moves up and quickly takes the bird down. Mercenaries win!

Post-Game Thoughts : Fun game, but the Rogues couldn’t really match the damage output of the Mercs. Magenta whiffed all of her Magnetic Defense rolls as well, which didn’t help. Omnidroid did great though, Deathstroke’s Round 2 Head Games might have saved his team from losing.

Pre-Game Thoughts/Preview : There is some good unit movement between Red Tornado and Awesome Android. They’re going to try and throw the Outsiders adjacent to the Omnidroids.

Damage Done (Normal Attack) : N/A
ROLLING DEVASTATION : OMNIDROID A - Used 1 time, rolled damage 4 times, 1 wound to Metamorpho, 1 wound to Katana, 1 wound to Black Lightning.
OMNIDROID B - Used 1 time, rolled damage 2 times,
CYBERCLAW : Really kept Metamorpho from doing much in the early game, and forced attacks onto the droids as the game progressed.
ADAPTIVE RESISTANCE : Neither bot got much from the power this game, they either got autowounded or had bad rolls.

ROUND 1 : Android initiative.
Both teams get to fighting quickly. Mad Thinker moves all OMs off of Batman over the course of the round, and both Red Tornado and Metamorpho end the round wounded.

ROUND 2 : Outsider initiative.
Omnidroid A rolls into the fray, tying down 3 of the Outsiders. Black Lightning then kills the robot.Red Tornado has thrown down some Tornado glyphs, trying to ruin the plans of the Outsiders. Katana and Black Lightning get wounded and thrown by the tornadoes, but Metamorpho nearly kills Red Tornado.

ROUND 3 : Android initiative.
A very wounded Red Tornado tries to finish Metamorpho but fails. Geo-Force drops a rock on the Androids, killing Red Tornado and wounding Omnidroid B. The fighting continues, leaving Omnidroid B and Geo-Force dead.

ROUND 4 : Outsider initiative.
Black Lightning and Metamorpho and being commanded by Batman to take out Awesome Android. They wound the Android, but Metamorpho dies in the process. Awesome Android has to fist fight Black Lightning, but he takes a wound from Lightning Chain, leaving the last Android on 1 life.

ROUND 5 : Android initiative.
Awesome Android swings at Black Lightning again, but Lightning Chain finishes him off. Mad Thinker is hiding in some trees, waiting for Black Lightning to come to him.

ROUND 6 : Android initiative.
With no where left to run, Mad Thinker charges Black Lightning. One Lightning Chain and one normal attack later, the Thinker is defeated. Outsiders win!

Post-Game Thoughts : The Outsiders did a pretty good job of playing around the powers of the Omnidroids. Two Omnidroids in this comp definitely felt like overkill, I think rearranging things and just having one would have felt better.

Thoughts on the Tested Unit's Cost, Balance, and Draftability : Feels solid in a Mad Thinker team, and bringing one as a generalist lockdown unit felt like it could work as well. Cost feels ok as well, same with balance for the most part.

General Thoughts on the Tested Unit : Two losses, but I don't think either was really because of the Omnidroids. Their allies weren't putting out a ton of damage. It felt pretty tough to build a team with them since they have weak synergies right now, but they did the job of locking down units well enough. If some more losses come in on PTs, I could see the price dropping a bit, or giving them 6 defense.

Thanks for the test! Syndrome should certainly help them out whenever he shows up

I propose we bump their defense up to 6 and move to Final Editing at 175.

Seems like they're a little underpowered so the boost makes sense, I will test them out again with Syndrome.
