I do think we need to officially list somewhere what an Event DO is and does. Can probably be done with Event Squads at the same time?

Do we need to? It’s the same an an Event Hero here. Can’t be auto destroyed and counts as an Event figure. I’d be happy to add a clarification in the OP.

Not sure on Blue, but I know the Black Lanterns destroyed the Sapphire Lantern in Blackest Night. And of course the Black Lantern battery was destroyed in that arc as well. It is surprising how often they use the battery destruction as a plot point. (Especially because it doesn't matter! The rings still work and they just rebuild it afterwards.)

Destructible Objects aren't Heroes, so we'd need to formally put the rules together for that. As-is the phrase "Event Destructible Object" has no rules meaning. If we're doing squads too though, we should probably just overhaul the rules in general there...

It might make sense to change the current Event Hero rules to simply "Event figure" rules that can then be applied to Event Heroes, Event Destructible Objects, Event Squads, and even Event Villains, which I plan to tackle eventually (Any Villain card would be an a.i. driven enemy unit that you could play against solo/coop).

Yeah, that's probably what I'd do. The base rulebook just have definitions for "Unique/Uncommon/Common," so the fact we define Event Heroes as their own thing is kind of an outlier.

Seemed like everyone is in favor of it, so I've updated this to Event status and we can work on tweaking the rules to reference figure when this is released.

The set name for the figure used should be "War of Light", without the "the".
