Re: The Book of Thor (Avengers)
Appreciate the help, Bats! Can't wait to see what new Avengers builds this guy and Quicksilver can make.

Re: The Book of Thor (Avengers)
Should Avenging Asgardian work with Asgardians? It’s mentioned in the synergy section and I think it may have been in one of the playtests but the card doesn’t seem to indicate that.

Re: The Book of Thor (Avengers)
Good catch! It did work with Asgardians at one point, but that was cut for text space/simplicity. I pruned the mention in the OP.

Re: The Book of Thor (Avengers)
This guy is so good in Avengers builds that he doesn't need the Asgardian synergy. And if you want to bring other Asgardians in, you can always just give them Avenger markers.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Thor (Avengers)
There's also an upcoming Asgardian/Warrior Leader Thor to scratch that itch! But yes, this one works fantastic in Avenger armies, so you won't miss 'em much.

Re: The Book of Thor (Avengers)
The real question is when we're getting a Thor that covers the other parts of his portfolio like trees and groves.

Re: The Book of Thor (Avengers)
@Joelll
, it says your PM box is too full to send you a message, but here’s your answer!

Short answer: Yes, he takes LEAs. Longer answer: So in C3G, we’ve made an effort to start removing what some see as “superfluous” language in our cards. So in any newer designs, a card won’t state that it essentially follows the normal rules of the game - For example, a character will not state that it takes LEAs, because that’s the normal rules of movement in this game. Cards will only state when they “break the rules”, like ignoring LEAs. Hope that’s helpful! |

Re: The Book of Thor (Avengers)
An additional source for the same figure is Hammer of Thor #105 / Thor, the Reigning.
Additionally, the figure can be sourced from Hammer of Thor: Warriors of Asgard Fast Forces #005 / Thor. |
