Round One

The Avengers claim the initiative, and Captain America advances.
Red Skull advances.
Falcon flies forwards and Winter Soldier follows up behind.
Taskmaster runs forwards, looses an arrow at Winter Soldier that lands true, inflicting a wound, and rolls forwards.
Falcon flies forwards and opens fire at Red Skull, but the fascist mastermind takes cover and avoids any harm. Winter Soldier advances and himself fires an ineffective shot at the skull.
Crossbones and Red Skull advance and open fire on Falcon - Crossbones inflicts a wound, but that is all.

Round Two

The Avengers claim the initiative. Captain America advances and throws his shield at all of the enemy fascists, but fails to harm any of them.
Red Skull charges Winter Soldier and strikes him, but Bucky holds him at bay.
Falcon soars high and opens fire on Red Skull, inflicting a wound. Bucky punches Red Skull hard with his Cybernetic Southpaw, inflicting two wounds.
Crossbones advances and fires two shots at Falcon, clipping his wings twice and inflicting two wounds, though Winter Soldier has Falcon’s back, and shoots Crossbones for a wound in response. Red Skull punches Bucky, inflicting two wounds.
Falcon fires two shots at Crossbones, inflicting a wound with each shot. Bucky punches Red Skull in the abdomen, inflicting a wound.
Taskmaster charges Bucky and cuts him down.

Round Three

The Avengers claim the initiative thanks to Falcon’s recon. Capatain America engages all the enemy heroes, and strikes all three of them with his shield - Red Skull parries, and his blow misses Taskmaster, but his blow would knock Crossbones out. Crossbones instead responds by using Taskmaster as a Human Shield, and Taskmaster takes the wound for him.
Crossbones moves to equal ground and strikes Captain America twice, but each blow is parried with his shield. He distracts the Captain long enough, though, for his master, the Red Skull, to strike Steve Rogers from behind, inflicting a wound.
Falcon guns Red Skull down, eliminating the Fascists’ next turn.
Falcon swoops in and engages Taskmaster, shooting him twice in melee combat, inflicting a wound with his first shot.
Taskmaster strikes Falcon with a backhand from his blade, cutting him down, before turning back to Captain America and striking him for a wound.

Round Four

The Avengers claim the initiative and Captain America strikes Taskmaster, but the mercenary blocks with perfected skill.
Taskmaster lays into Captain America with a flurry of blows, but each of them is weak, and easily blocked.
Captain America socks Taskmaster on the jaw, inflicting two wounds and leaving him reeling, almost knocked out.
Taskmaster’s flurry of strikes is held at bay.
Captain America knocks Taskmaster out.

Round Five

Crossbones claims the initiative, and attempts to shoot Captain America in the back, but the good Captain anticipates this, turns, and blocks the shot with his shield.
Steve disdainfully knocks Brock out.

Avengers victorious - Captain America 3/5 wounds.

Overview: I really like Falcon - solid, simple, and fun. I imagine he’s going to be a go-to for me from now on, simply because he’s a thematic, mid-level, flying ranged multi-attacker for Avengers builds. He’s super simple, but so’s the character. He’s perfect for who he is.

Round One

The Turtles claim the initiative. Don advances and moves Mikey forwards with his gauntlet. Captain America advances.
Mikey charges Captain America and claims height, striking him twice and inflicting a wound.
Rock runs up and fires a shot at Mikey, chipping his shell with the bullet and inflicting two wounds. Super Soldier flies next to Captain America and knocks Mikey out with ease.
Leo and Raph leap forwards.
Sgt. Rock advances and throws a Pineapple Grenade at the surviving Turtles, inflicting a wound each on Leo and Don. Falcon flies forwards.

Round Two

The Turtles claim the initiative, and Leo burns the X and 3. Don vaults behind Sgt. Rock and strikes him three times, inflicting three wounds. Raph charges Super Soldier, striking twice and inflicting a wound. Leo leaps in to strike Sgt. Rock, but Super Soldier steps in with Saviour’s Shield, taking a blow to the back from Raph in the process, though he blocks Leo’s blow. Leo then delivers another blow to Sgt. Rock, inflicting a wound and leaving the good sergeant bleeding out, near death.
Captain America charges Raph and socks him one, striking him for two wounds.
Raph flies into a rage, cutting Sgt. Rock down and eliminating the Soldiers’ second turn before claiming height on Captain America and striking him for a wound.
Falcon guns Raphael down in two shots.

Round Three

The Turtles claim the initiative. Leo activates the X on Don, who runs from Super Soldier, taking a blow to the back in the process, and vaults towards Falcon, striking him twice and inflicting a wound. Leo leaps next to Captain America and strikes him twice from height, inflicting a wound.
Captain America moves to equal ground and strikes Leo, inflicting three wounds with a devastating right hook.
Leo burns the X on Don. Donatello runs from Falcon, taking a shot to the back in the process, and then vaults towards Falcon, striking him twice with his bo staff and inflicting a wound with each strike. Leo leaps next to Falcon and brings him down, eliminating the Soldiers’ second turn, before striking Leo to no avail.
Super Soldier barrels into Leonardo, knocking him out.

Round Four

The Turtles claim the initiative (Again!) and Don vaults towards Super Soldier and strikes him twice from height, failing to harm him.
Captain America knocks Donatello out, and Splinter appears on the front lines.
Splinter charges Captain America and strikes him twice, knocking him out.
Super Soldier claims height and punches Splinter, inflicting a wound.
Splinter claims height, and, with one devastating blow while Clark is distracted, knocks Super Soldier out.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles victorious, Master Splinter 1/4 wounds.

Overview: Falcon only got one turn this game, but he got a couple of lucky shots then. He’s certainly not too much, but he is scary. I also love Sgt. Rock and Super Soldier - my first time playing either of them, and they’re both awesome.

Unit Summary: This match up felt more even than the results. The dice just didn’t favor the Soldiers here and Iron Fist and the Fighter’s initiative rolls were both hot. Falcon had some good attack potential, but wasn’t rolling skulls well.

• Damage Done (Normal Attack): Inflicted (1) wound on (Iron Fist (1))
• EYES IN THE SKY: He got the full +6 boost at least twice, but just didn’t have dice luck here.

Gorillas engages Cap and put three wounds on him. Solovar advances.
Sgt. Rock advances and KO’s a Gorilla, but ends his own engagement bonus in doing so. Falcon flies up and KO’s one Gorilla, then misses another.
Gorillas can’t hit Cap, but don hit Falcon for two wounds. Chimp advances.
Bucky, Sgt. Rock, and Falcon all take out Gorillas. Falcon fails an attack on Solovar.

Round 2: Simians are inspired and get an extra attack on Rock, thanks to Chimp. Initiative Soldiers, who won even without Falcon’s +4. Bucky and Cap both fail to hit Chimp.
Gorillas advance. Chimp takes height on Rock and gets two skulls on seven dice, which Rock blocks.
Bucky fails to hit an ape with his machine gun. Rock hits Chimp for a wound. Falcon easily takes out two Gorillas with six dice attacks.
Gorillas advance and can’t hit Rock. Chimp puts three wounds on Rock.
Bucky fails to hit a Gorilla. Rock takes out a Gorilla. Falcon follows the Secret Attack Plan, but can’t hit Solovar, so he takes out a Gorilla as well.
A Gorilla and Chimp each wound Rock to finish him off.

Round 3: Simians are inspired and have +1 defense from Chimp. Initiative Soldiers, even without the +6 from Falcon. Bucky fails to hit a Gorilla from height. Cap takes out two of three remaining Gorilla City Warriors with his shield from range.
The last Gorilla City Warrior fails to finish Cap. Chimp puts two wounds on Bucky.
Bucky can’t hit an escaping Chimp. Falcon finishes the last Gorilla, but Chimp escapes him.

Falcon follows the Secret Attack Plan and but can’t hit Solovar.

Round 4: Simians are inspired and Chimp gives them an extra defense. Initiative Soldiers after Falcon finally swings things. Bucky can’t hit Chimp but Cap hits him for one wound with his shield, while also failing an attack on Solovar.

Bucky and both of Falcon’s attacks miss an escaping Chimp.
Chimp whiffs an attack on Cap.
Bucky finishes Chimp. Falcon follows the Secret Attack Plan and puts three wounds on Solovar in two attacks.

Round 5: Initiative Soldiers, with help from both Falcon and Oracle. Bucky punches Solovar out from height.

Unit Summary: The Simians felt like they had a chance here, but just couldn’t swarm fast enough or quite finish off Cap or Bucky early enough to keep up with the killing power of the Soldiers.
