Character Bio - Dragon was found in a burning field by Lt. Frank Darling, with no memories of his past or how he ended up in the field. Darling dubbed him "Dragon" because of his appearance, and that became his legal name while learning to fit into society. At the time, Chicago was being terrorized by the villainous criminal gang called the Vicious Circle, led by the mysterious Overlord. Realizing that Dragon's superhuman powers would be a terrific boon to the police in battling the Vicious Circle, Darling asks the Dragon to join the police. Being such a massive help to Chicago PD, other departments requested his aid in various matters. While on loan to the NYPD, he first met the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, whom he ended up assisting multiple times. Seeing the success of Dragon in the field, Darling helped form the Freak Force, a group of former powered vigilantes that work directly for the police force. Led by Dragon, they saw moderate success, but eventually broke away from the police force.
Dragon went on to lead various teams of heroes, but always kept coming back to the CPD, not only because his best friends Frank and Alex Wilde were officers, but also because he upheld a strict moral code and wanted to fight crime by the book.
Dragon is dubbed “The Savage Dragon” by the press, but is always held in the highest regard among police and other heroes alike. He assists the likes of Spawn, Invincible, Witchblade, and many other heroes throughout his career.

Simple design, looks like a fun addition to the Lawmen.

I'm never TOO excited about open-ended synergy like that, but for a "universe headliner" and to beef up a pretty underused faction I'm cool with it.

Would it be too much to put a non-human restriction on Freak Force? A brief google suggests they're all super-people, so I think it would help to put some sort of limit on the power, however minor.

Otherwise looks good, no notes!

Unfortunately a few of them are totally human. Dart (The leader after they branch off) and Star.



Also he still puts the markers on Lawmen to allow for bonding. I don't mind mixing up the power a bit. Basically you can go all in on Lawmen and have bonding with anyone, or a couple Lawmen and allow bonding with a few non-lawmen.

Yeah, a non-human restriction would cancel any Lawmen bonding, which would be a bummer. I really want to try this guy with the Beat Cops.

Yeah, I’m imagining Freak Force will either end up getting limited or bump his cost up quite a bit. Just comparing him to Ms. Marvel, I think he has a ton of advantages, although he does lack the range and the decent counterstrike.

You do have to pay that small minimum premium of 150 points to get all four markers (some cheap SWAT guys and Bad Cops do it), but that's not too daunting.

Calculator has him in the 270-295 range, so 280 is probably about right. I could see the bonding power ending up needing some additional restrictions if it comes in too strong, though.

Let's say he's 290 and you throw in 150 points of Cops just to fulfill the requirement. That's 440 points. What's the nastiest group of bonding partners you'd want to bring with that?
