I've only seen the first one, but I did like it a lot. I don't like plain action movies very much so maybe I wouldn't like the 2nd as much. Too much action might take away from the mystery and tenseness that I liked in the first one.

I thought the first Terminator was not a good movie at all. Second was pretty good, but no desire to see it again.

I liked both Alien and Aliens. They just fall into two different genres, first is really a Horror flick that takes place in space, while the second is an War movie where the space marines are fighting an unknown alien threat on another planet. If the 3rd one had turned out to be a Rom-Com, that would have blown my mind.

I've only seen Alien as well. I do want to see Aliens still, though. Agreed that T2 was better than T1, but I thought they were both darn good, honestly.
