I could see a Planet Hulk (as a sort of pseudo-sequel to GotG), but World War Hulk seems like an odd direction to take the series.

Like most movie rumors, I'd take all that with a grain of salt. For one, it doesn't seem to mesh with the tone and style of the Marvel movie universe. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see another Hulk movie, but Planet/World War Hulk would be a weird fit, I think.

I'm on board with a planet Hulk movie. I mentioned a while back that the GotG introduction to a wider universe of characters could lead to it. It will all depend on how well that movie is received. The odd thing is that Hulk would be CGI for most of the movie and then we would not get much of any Mark R. as Banner.

Actually, the behind the scenes stuff shows that Ruffalo actually acted out most of the scenes from Avengers and they used sensors on his body and face to translate his movements into a bigger scale. So even if Planet Hulk were done, Ruffalo would be acting out all of the Hulk's scenes. I think the biggest issue is that the Hulk speaks much more in Planet Hulk and are people willing to buy into that.

Well, neither one of them appeared in Planet Hulk, in fact he thought his son has died (if you didn't know Hulk had two sons, sorry for the spoiler.) One takes after their mother with the Old Power and the other "Hulks" out.
